Yeah, I agree with Wriggy. It's a great first effort! (You can only get better, right?)

It might be worthwhile popping over to the Design Chat and Help thread, see if you can pick up any tips. And google some tutorials - they'll help you learn some new techniques.

I think we should cross that bridge when we get to it. Firstly, I'd recommend getting more practice in, looking at tutorials and whatnot, and getting a good feel of everything that is possible in Photoshop. The designers here didn't just pick up their skills overnight! ;) Some have been using this type of software for centuries! (I'm lookin' at you, Ash!)

A boarder would look nice! ;) But otherwise, the blending looks pretty sound. I recommend erasing some of the noise over the render, though. Make it look more clear! Nice work.

Borders are easy to do mate..

Simple tut

Create a new layer in your PSD or just the image (PNG/JPG)
Grab the magic wand and select the whole image (should go round the edge)
Go to edit then stroke
Choose your colour (Black or white usually) and choose your size (2px/1px recommended)
Then thats it

However you can choose to set it to overlay for a blended border which still looks pretty awesome.

The first version of your Devil May Cry sig is better IMO. The second one looks a bit weird due to the speck on his face. In the first one, you know where it's coming from because there's lines through it like the others.

Also, use borders, they help to make the sigs look more organized or clean I guess...

Just some constructive criticism... Keep up the good work though man!

I really liked your use of bright colors though, it helps make it stand out...

A render is a picture of what you want, but with a solid background.

Im real sorry man, i could hardly find any usable images of noein to use in the sig, but if you do find a image i could try and use it. As well I dont know if you would like this style but you can tell me straight away and make a different type for you till you see fit or if want to edit any on these current sigs. But anyway there just 4 different versions which are darker or lighter then each other or 2 different fonts.

Pretty sweet sigs man - props to ya! Actually, they're better than pretty sweet.

V1 and V3 are great, but im not too sure about the filter on V2.

Also, add a border!

If stroke is not working you could try getting the box tool border.

Small Tut.

Get the box tool, create a box a little away from the edges
Inverse it (Ctrl, shift, I) you should then get another box around that box.
Then create a new layer and get the colour bucket and use it inside the box.
There you go..a border.

That is a great first sig. Do you know how to put borders on your sigs? It would give them all a nice touch.

yeah, if actually can see i did put 1 on the american sig but it very thin so I may raise it so the border is more thicker

Now have a mess around with them, use different styles (try overlay, soft light etc).
You'll eventually make an ultimate sig.

No its fine, like I said I dislike the game and as such it would be mighty silly to have it in my sig. I just liked its look thats all. (its the Kane and Lynch one on the first page Im talking about aswell, so one of your very early ones).

Thanks so much for having a bash at the Godfather one. I only got my assasins creed one very recently but would like a gofather one even more ;)

Just a small tip of something I've noticed in your signature.

The x360a font is real blurry, you've used the Visitor font for that, which is a pixel font, if you use a pixel font always set the Anti-Aliasing (to the right of the size) to sharp.

If you use a non pixel font always set it to smooth, just a small tip that can make it look much nicer
