Pretty nice gallery you started up here. I just recommend that you work on your lighting.

Keep the work up and you can go far with Photoshop :D. Also I like how you use all defaults, that makes me happy lol ^.^

It certainly is. They're one of my favourite bands too! I just got the 'Heima' DVD for christmas off my girlfriend, and i severely suggest you get it if you haven't already!

Those last two are really nice signatures but the text doesn't suit either of them, get the text right and your golden to be a great sig maker :)

Dude, I just wanna say good work on this stuff. I've seen a lot of great artwork sigs on this site, and these are a nice addition. It makes me want to learn Photoshop or something. lol My favorite ones are the one with Vash and the one with the big ol' tank.

There all a big mono tone and whats with all the scan lines. Scan lines total kill sigs.

There some nice brushing and lighting, but you need more colour and get rid of the scan lines.

When you've got your brush tool selected click the drop down menu to select your brush, then click on the little arrow in the grey circle next to it. Click 'assorted brushes' and its one of them

Wow dude. Those are probably the best sigs I've ever seen. Maybe it's because I really like vector art, and one of those backgrounds on one of the assassin's creed sigs reminded me of it. But the others are all really awesome as well.

Thats cool. How did you get the VII text to look like that? Did you just put a test layer over some lines? or is it a text/brush combo?

Used the scan lines tutorial found in the media section somewhere. Then I just made a square selection, and filled it with the scanlines and then layer masked the edge so it's a bit rough

I'm not liking some of your latest signatures. They're a big black sig with a small image smudged around inside.

It's not very appealing. Not to mention, they're overcontrasted and oversaturated.

This latest one is the worst of all, however. There's just no substance to them.

Your new one is ok, but you need to cover the whole thing i dont think the large solid colour spaces work it just makes it look rely plain, not as bad in this one as others but still i think it would look alot better if you did your background across the whole thing and maybe make the canvas size smaller so its easier

PSP2 concept design is well thoughtout and it moves ^_^ I think it would be awesome if the psp screen moved. It would be a job getting it to cover the analogue sticks but Its and awesome idea. As for your latest post, the request looks awesome. I can't help but notice that the sig looks a bit too blurry around the boobage area. Instead of focussing on the facial area you should have carried the rendwer through. Other than that the render really fits in with the colour and blends in with the background really well. I love your SOTF 10 entry. The orbs look really well placed and sized, you haven't gone overboard with them either (which is where I sometimes have a problem :)). I think the lighting in this signature looks amazing, it shows well on the stripes aswell. The rays of light coming through the trees looks really good. Now onto the worm, I think this is a really good design. It's not too complicated and I think the text is spot on for that particular peice. I love the lines coming out of all the "n's" and the small abstract parts coming out of it works really well.

Wow, the light in thating signature looks amazing yet a little tiny bit blurry. The fire effect is hella awesome aswell. The text on the little fire line is perfect. It's kinda the icing on the cake.

I don't think it's boring at all to be fair mate, I think its very impressive and I have to agree that the placement of the text just tops the whole signature off to make it extrememly good.

Would you be so kind to make me a signature and maybe matching avatar by the way because i'm sick of justing having a gamercard in my signature. :)


Edit; I'd just like to say that I personally like when you fill the whole canvas aswell as leaving the rest of the signature white makes it look a bit to plain, I do however think they would look good if you left the rest of it transparent so you just have the focal of the signature. :D

Personally, I'm not really liking the theme/choice of render on this signature but the overall flow and look of the signature is great! :)
The only thing I would change is that you've added a rather large blended border to your signature which looks, to put it bluntly rubbish..take it out and it'll be far better.
Also, the logo needs to be brought up a few layers because it doesn't look as good since it's covered by an orange layer.

Thats my feedback for todays signature. :p

I dunno man. I turned the opacity down on the logo because otherwise it detracted the focus from the main render. And also, the render is what my character looks like on SWG so I can't change that haha!

I also like the overlay border I did, because it is similar to my other borders, but doesn't block a lot of the signature off (because it's on overlay).

Hey narco! I really like your SWG sig (used to play it a long time ago). Only comments i really have for it is that the border is so small on the sides that it kindof makes the bottom and top borders look bigger.

And maybe it is just me but the logo seems to have the opacity turned just a little too far.

You have to stop putting text in the sig if it doesn't need it. You are runing the focal huge by doing this. Also use stock photo's not renders, renders are good when you are starting Photoshop but when you want to make that jump go to stocks, they will help you alot to be creative.

Nah, I agree - I thought the logo looked good at the time but don't think it looks so hot now lol! I tried to make it blend in a bit so it didn't detract from the Mon Calamari!

Not quite sure which text you're talking about here...

And I like using renders because I use the renders for the background (in that I smudge the render to make the background) so that everything is colour co-ordinated. So the background for my SWG is just Ackbar but smudged which is why it's orangey. If you use a stock you tend to get a background in there or you have to cut the background out, hence making it a render anyway.

Can't go wrong with castle crashers ^^
As soon as you add a castle crashers knight to a signature it becomes epic win isntantly lol

First one is really cool ;p has a underwater feel to it.. and if you have ever played MGS2.. it reminds me of the start menu with all the DNA strands for some reason ;p

Hey Narcolepticshee,

I'm kinda new to the whole signature stuff and was wondering if you could make one for me sometime. I've been looking at a lot of other sigs that you've made and must say they are quite impressive.

Anyway, I was wondering if you could make a Shadow Link sig for me. I'd really like one with the actual Shadow Link in it from Legend of Zelda 2 or Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I don't really want it to be a cheerful sig. since Shadow Link was actually the bad guy in Zelda. So if you could pull of a sig. that's dark and maybe has like a triforce somewhere I'd much appreciate it.
