so yeah it seems that people are buying the premium 360 instead of the core because of all the free shit you get lol so i was wondering what everyone was thinking about microsoft stopping the core system (if they did stop it) and also, who bought premuim and who bought core?

i bought a premium, and they should have never made the core in teh first place so yes they should stop making it. all it did was hurt them in the battle with sony.

i think the core system was a sly move on Microsoft's part. the core appeals to ppl who dont give a crap about online (i know that kind of person is hard to imagine), but theres probly a significant amount of ppl who bought the core and wouldnt have bought the premium.

I know a few mates that opted for the Core because it was cheaper and the only one available at the time.

I think its a waste of money, as you have to fork out so much to buy the other things on top, hard-drive, wireless pad etc etc.
Now that the premiums are available in most stores, they should stop with the cores, but of course they wont. :)

Yeah I was lucky I got the last HDD in sheffield, The core I bought was £209 but I got PGR thrown in for free. Got a headset from a different store the same day.

It took me 2 weeks solid of searching to finally get one but it was worth it in the end.;)

I got a core too because they only had 4 premiums. Sucks. They brought us food from their deli, it was awesome (I waited at WalMart). I waiting 7 hours in line the first night they came out. If I could have I wouldve got the Premium, but I was lucky to get one at all.

i have a prem, but if my prem breaks or something im just going to buy a core, no reason to buy the prem again(this is if i dont get a free replacment or something) so no i dont think they should stop, but i dont think they should have started from the get go ether.

I got the premium version, simply because thats how I roll ;) I went to asda in sutton, they had 12 premiums and 12 core....but only 6 people knew they were actually selling it! so I was rather chuffed at that.

i pre-ordered my premium in october '05 and got it last feb, worth it though because even if i bought a core package instead of waiting for the premium, i'd still have to buy a hd, which is $100 alone; the core package is pretty much useless.

i didnt preorder or anyhitng. i got one in the last shipment right before christmas.
my sisters boy friend worked at toys r us and they got a small shipment(maybe 5) of premiums. so he hid one of them under the counter till the end of the day and then bought it :bow:

With the new and improved Premium bundle coming out soon with PGR 3, 1250 MS Points, and 3 months of live there really isn't any reason to buy a core system.

Core should have never been made. The reason I say that is it hurts the quality of the games. Instead of making games that use the harddrive they have to make sure games can be used without it. Stupid. I hate it. Death to the core. :uzi: core unit

To be honest I bought the core cause the premuim was out of stock but I got a great deal (used to work there) so had a remote, headset, memory card and 2 official wireless controllers plus PGR3 and PDZ included for the cost of a premuim. All I had to buy was a HDD and VGA cable so I still feel I got a fair deal overall.
