OK, around August (school starts around there) MadCatz is coming out with a backpack that says Xbox 360 on back. The funny part is... it is $69.99!!!
Who would buy a backpack for $70.00?

wow that looks like it could hold a lot of books though, might come in handy to me cause i never go to my locker, but the halo 2 one is pretty big as well and i think its cheaper, cause 70 bucks is quite a lot

I don't think I would want to advertise the fact that there was a $400 console in my pack, great way to get your gear jacked.

Yeah, I wouldn't use it for the 360. I would use it for my college books, but $70.00 is a lot. I think it should be like $30 or somethin

I would buy a backpack then and not buy a console case/backpack if you're just going to be hauling books.

yea but none of the backpacks i see at school are durable or big enough to carry 70 or 80 pounds worth of textbooks and 3-ring binders that i carry around everyday. the bookbag i carried this year had to be sowed around the straps 4 times with high strength upholstry thread cause it kept tearing.

Although I play my Xbox 360 most of the time, at least once a day (mostly offline atm) I wouldnt buy a backpack .. especially for those prices.

I use a Targus backpack that is big. I can get all of my school bocks and my PC in it. I have used it for a year and have had no problems with it. It is not cheep, but it gets the job done. Get a good backpack and it will last much longer than a cheap bag.

If you embroidered your gamertag on it you'd need to re-stich it every time you got an achievement, which would be a real ball ache!

I paid $70 for my Incase laptop bag, so $70 doesnt seem unheard of to me. I dont know if this was meant to carry your 360 everywhere you went but I can imagine if you are frequently taking it to other people's houses then this would come in handy. I had a case for my Xbox and I loved it because it was so easy for me to bring it to friend's houses.
