Ok, where did half my tag go?

As you can see just under my name, my profile has vanished.

Not entirely mind you, I can still log into my account using my 360, I can still see "me" when comparing achievements with other people (but unable to go to my own). I can still, to my knowledge, play online (both Cloning Clyde and Doom seem happy to let me begin online games).

What in the nine hells is going on? And how do I fix it?

Xbox live is having problems at the minute.

Yes with all sorts of stuff like disconnects and so on but this seems to be unique, and rather nerve racking.
