How many of you people have played Day Of Defeat of the 2nd version Day Of Defeat Source. Now how great would it be if they made an new version and made it for X360. Any Word.

Never heard of it myself, what type of game is it? Sounds like a ww2 FPS. If so bring it on :woop:

Dunno what it is. But the name implies losing, so maybe a ww2 game where you play as the germans? PLEZ@!@!

I havent even heard of the game but here is a link for it. Sounds quite fun. http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/dayofdefeatsource/index.html?tag=result;title;0
I've got the first DOD. It's was quite fun. Who knows maybe there be another orange box with all the multi-player games on it. Like (DOD,CS,Red Orchestra,The ship, and maybe HL2: DM (thought HL2: DM wasn't all that great), but I doubt it. I have all them for the PC anyway, (besides Red Orchestra but I'm buying that now).

Yes, DoD was a 3rd party complete mod of the half-life engine. It was a WW2 first person multiplayer. I played it for a long time in high school, I remember the maps were great and it had a good sense of balance to the game.
As I recall, Day of Defeat was purchased by Valve and it then became a first-party (if that makes any sense) endeavor. They made people pay for it, and as I've heard it's not as good as the original was.
Regardless, if the price was right, I would consider purchasing it for XBL. Maybe once the CoD4 craze dies down (will it?), Valve could look into it to rejuvenate Orange Box's multiplayer.
