I'm sure they're just having some technical difficulties. I mean, even the xbox.com gamer cards aren't showing up in the left hand corner and under people's avatar's at times. So, I'm guessing they're just having some problems and they'll probably be fixed soon.

Im having the same problems too. My xbox keeps telling me to connect to XBL even though it says Im signed in. It also keeps freezing up on me whenever I try to play a game online.

Yes, XBL is down. I can't even sign into MSN. I called MS and they said that LIVE is down and that it should be back up soon.

Live has been having a lot of problems since the update. Not only did they mess up a lot of consoles but they messed up their servers too.

that was driving me nuts... I just went and played some mass effect since I couldn't play online ;)

I wish they would warn me when they are going to mess up xbox live ahead of time.
