Hey guys, just t hought id let you know...im new to the world of gaming, and have had my xbox360 for about 3 weeks. Ive only got 460points so far...but im aiming to do a thousand a month. Do you think this is possible and how easy do you think I can do it?

You can get 10,000 your first month go the the games section and look at the quick 1000's. Answering your question 1k a month is very much possible.

In my opinion it will depend on some things. First off, you'll have to constantly have new games to play in order to get the achievements. Also you'll have to spend a lot of time gaming to do so. However I'd say as long as you have a fresh stockpile of games then you should be good to go.

yeh man - just look for the easy games, King Kong, Avatar etc. and then blast them out - you'll easily make it. And then just make sure you get at least one game a month and you should be on your way to 1000 a month :)

very very easy for 1k a month

i mean thats one solid game for 30 days you can easily avg like 5k a month with jus playing on and off and having good stock of games

good luck i got kinda of the same only instead of 12k its 50k this yr which is also easily possible

Good stuff...well maybe I should go all out for 40,000 lol. Cant wait to get home...Ive had Halo 3 for a while now but only played the first level! Gonna complete it tonight ;) Wonder how many points that will get me!

No offense but that article was retarded. You can get 50 from just about every game you play in the first 10-30 min. I would just follow the link to easy 1000 points and your all set. Keep in mind though at $7 average to rent games getting your score up quickly in a month is gonna cost ya a pretty penny. Try and bum some games off a bud is what I recommend.

just find regular games
and beat them to the fullest u can

Starting out I think that 1k per month is very, very achievable. If I were you I would try to aim for about 3k per month, which, if you can get your hands on easy games through rentals, your score will sky rocket. Like someone else already mentioned, check out the easy 1k list which will give you some ideas on which games to rent and a possible time frame to complete them in.

try to get as many as u can
each month or just in a long period of time in general

Shutting her down. Honestly, if you put forth an effort, you could easily hit 30k in a month. It's really not that difficult. Just check out the quick 1000 list and start from one category and go to the next. Read achievement guides and forums carefully. You'll be set. If I'm not mistaken, I did create a post on how to get a certain gamerscore in a short period of time. Unfortunately I lost it.
