I searched, couldn't find anything, so here goes:
On December 19th of last year, I started my LIVE subscription. I used my Dad's credit card to sign up for a yearly billing. The other day, on the 19th of this December, I got an email confirming my renewal of the plan. However, when I went to my "Billing + Account Management" section of my xbox.com profile, it said that Microsoft was "unable to charge your credit card". My dad said he no longer has that card, which is why they weren't able to charge it. As of this afternoon, I have been able to get on LIVE without a problem.
I tried calling the Xbox support line, but they're jammed. I'm at a crossroads as to what to do. Do I go out, get a 1-year card, and plug it in, or did I get a free year of XBL? I'm in the midst of a 3-digit streak on 360voice, so missing even one day due to a lapse of subscription is out of the question.
