Can you get all achievements through coop?

I tried looking around but I don't know much about the game. Please respond quickly; I'm probably leaving to get this game soon and I'd like to know if I should tell my friend to come over.

You can earn achievements with two people playing, however only the first person signed in will earn the achievements.

So, if you are signed in, your buddy can help you, but he won't get the achievements.
