i feel like a noob, but playing through my first time i didnt concintrate on locations of stuff, so now that i want those achievements, im kinda screwed, i have deleted my save, but its still there if i found the coins or bots some how. soo i have to play a seconed account just to make sure. im just trying to use process of elimination to find out what i am missing. and i am only off by a few, but i like to use the shockwave by the thing, yea a noob thing to do, but i just want to get through it. so if someone has sugestions or anything to add or if you had this problem post here. i mean i am at wits end. i hate the fact that i have to play it on another profile just to double check if i got the coins or bots.

I'm right with you man. This is idiotic that deleting the save file doesn't reset everything. What the hell were they thinking.
Does playing on a dummy profile work for resetting it I haven't tried it yet.

To avoid things like this in the future always research a game before you pop it in...well if you are going for all the achievements that is.

Before I start any game that I do I spend probably an hour or two surfing the interwebs and learning all I can about the games achievements before I dive in. This has saved me a lot of frustration.

Any time there are collectibles always try to find a guide and use the easiest difficulty to grab them all in one run through.

I feel your pain though...Its a really terrible system they used for this one.

If you deleted the save and it still remembered stuff about the game you could try clearing your cache - that removes any game updates and anything that games might have saved to it.

I know with Prey it stores which chapters you have unlocked in the cache rather than the save file. I completed it on normal, and still have the save file. I cleared my cache, reloaded the game, but now although I have my save from near the end of normal, none of the previous chapters are unlocked. Even completing the final chapter again to unlock the harder difficulty didn't trigger it. So hopefully this should work with Fantastic Four
