Where are the doom trolls?

I beat Kameo and now I'm going for the A ranks. I started on Thorns castle and I saw the A rank video and when I got to the doom troll part, when I hit focus, they were never any doom trolls. How exactly do I do this whole doom troll, A rank stuff? It's very confusing and intimidating seeing how my old score was in the low thousands.

First off, you can find people to boost the achievements with in the Achievement Trading thread stickied at the top of the forums. Pop your details in there and you will find someone helpful eventually =)

Doom Trolls, as I remember, appear randomly when you are in Warrior Focus and have high multipliers. So if none are appearing at all during focus then try getting your multipliers up first and remember that they don't appear constantly, sometimes you will have to wait for them.

I believe (I'm not CERTAIN) but I believe the doomed trolls first appear after ten consecutive troll kills without taking damage. Basically, your carnage multiplier.

Basically, try to get your three multipliers as high as you can and then enter Warrior Focus. You'll see at least one small, fast, white trolls circling you while in focus mode. Unlike regular trolls, these move so fast, they aren't hindered by Warrior Focus at all.

The higher your multipliers, the more Doomed Trolls appear and they give you seriouse bonus points.

Another note, most of the A ranks require entering focus as many times as possible to make Doomed Trolls appear and rank up as many points as possible. This is much easier said than done as I'm sure you've noticed because when you get hit, your multiplier goes down a point. You don't want to waste the appearances of the Doomed Trolls as they'll only appear a number of times through each temple or "dungeon".

Basically, for places like the Forest and Snow temple, you want to have at least a 20 point Carnage multiplier so before you ever activate warrior focus. Just so there are many Doomed Trolls on the screen rather than one or two which wastes a Doomed Troll "spawn".

If this doesn't make sense, just tell me and I'll try to be a little more clear. It's sorta complicated.

Hey Skillet you keep saying "activate warrior focus" can you activate it at will cause I thought you had to kill enough trolls for it? sorry I must be an idiot or something but please make clear for me. Thanks

No, you can't turn it on with the push of a button, but you should be able to just go into "warrior focus" when you want to by using certain spirits and combos as long as you have enemies to fight. When you go into "warrior focus" is very important for getting high rankings.
