alright while so that i can keep the sign up thread clean here is a discussion thread on the clan


what i am planning on doing for the setup is military rankings. The full setup will be a company with a Captain leading it. I know Tron was going to lead the one before and i also know Maka was interested but it really depends on who signs up. Anyway i was planning on just giving everyone a rank and then the top most person in each "squad" would be the squad leader.

Ranks will be determined by your time on the forums,maturity, and maybe age will be taken into account.

I've always wanted to be part of an online clan, and I think an x360a clan is the best opportunity to come around. :)

Once everything has been sorted out, perhaps consider adding a couple more games to the list?

while it will not be up to me alone if i am going to have any say in it at all. The ranks are going to be based on length on the site, maturity, and in some cases age. If i remember correctly i know that Vista (don't mean to judge but you were one of the only people i could think of) just turned 15 so if he is being compared to someone who has been here around the same amount of time but the other person is 25-30 then the older person will get higher rank because they have "more" experience in life, (not you just an example) but the other person will be assumed to be more mature. If that person has proved to be immature they would be demoted and vista promoted. It really all is about how long you have been here and how mature you are. Also you arn't going to be segregated it will just be ranked and people having different responsibilities compared to other people.


and to Birky i could not think of a game that is team based and you have to rely on other people that was not a shooter. Once the patch comes out Fifa 08 would be a great one

Is there any interest in a Chromehounds clan? That is a game that supports clan play, and if you wanted to make some clan goals I wouldn't mind leading it. My time zone is Pacific, so it might be hard for UK members unless we made it a weekend warriors kind of thing.

I think it would be best just to have at most 15 people per clan. Take for example Call of Duty 4. The most you can do right now is 12 vs 12. Have the twelve main people and three subs. One leader[or captain] three sub leaders or sergeants and the rest are members.

As for recruiting why not just have the four main people[captain and sergeants] and have them play with each person individually in a ranked match. With that, you can test their team work and skill in the match. After the team is set up, the clan can start designing strategies for each map and game mode.


As for Chromehounds....I think there have been several threads trying to recruit members, but most don't succeed. The community as a whole is little compared to what it used to be and the clan would be most likely playing bots instead of people.

Well, there's two already. I'm sure that Zef would love to join. So that would leave five people. Maybe advertising it would gain people.

I'll help you there. You could do eight people on each clan and go for the achievements. Problem would be that not a lot of people actually own the game, so unless it isn't advertised, people won't join.

Well, im sure we could use these forums to chat and organize, but he has done stuff before with ranks for other clans. He could make a list that looks cool that organizes the rank system at least, if not add features to allow the leaders and high ranks to modify this list and send out messages to the people in their squad. He could add all sorts of little tidbits like that on there. But im not sure if it would be practical since we're not going to use another site. I'll try to find an example of what he can do right now.
If we did get a new site, it would probably be something small named x360aclan.com or something like that.

The whole point of x360a clans is to have good members from x360a. I am sure we all know people who are good at games, but they have to meet the requirements.

nothing in particular i think that it will go through and minty will agree with it due to the fact that there are so many people interested in the idea. If there were only 10 people who wanted to join then it would be scrapped but we have 30 members who are in the clan and about 15-20 who do not meet requirements, but they are posting more so that they can join later on

I guess it all depends .. I am guessing your community involvement has a lil something to do with it. I wouldn't focus to much on the "ranks" there really just for show ! we kill together, we get fragged together.

Well number 2 was answered in the clan FAQ, I'm sure number 1 is along those same lines. The senior members are watching us (Oooooohhh:eek:) and will decide if we are to be promoted.

All the senior members are watching the activity of the members. If we think it is needed that someone gets promoted, we will discuss it and take action. Do not ask to be promoted, we only promote who we think is deserving of a promotion.

I like that idea, but the recommendations only apply to those who have 100+ posts [that aren't spam]. But I still have the feeling idiots will post asking to be in the clan with only 1 post and registered yesterday. :rolleyes:

Do you have something against me? It's not as if some of the people never played with me...I'm going to spend another weekend playing some matches. My former account, legendslam x, is now a silver account. My cousin uses it because he doesn't have XBL. I got my recommendations and I'm staying as active as possible.
