Secret Area ??

Ive noticed that the area of Asurf which you have to eliminate your last target (before you go back to Masyaf) there are 2 skinny pathways. One pathway lead to Asurf and the other is blocked by that big blue wall.

Does anybody know how to get though, is there anything special that is needed to be done? Because i doubt they would put a pathway in the game for no reason at all if it served no purpose.

No thats the thing .. Ive completed the game im not talking about the passage to asurf im talking about the 1 next to it Even after 100% completion (all flags templars etc) it is still blocked. any answer?

This has intrigued me. I assumed it was just another path to Arsuf. Have you tried going through it after you've killed Robert? To tell you the truth I dont remember if you can do that or not....

I just went and had a quick look and both paths are blocked for me at present whilst replaying block 6. I couldn't be bothered doing all the stuff to get me through to Arsuf though.

Perhaps a lead on to the next games? DLC?

I have noticed this, but I haven't gone back after killing Robert de Sable since you can only go in during Block 6 and this is before you kill him, so it probably never unlocks and you can probably only get through by glitching. Maybe it will be for the next game, but I doubt the next game will be the same time era, but who knows.

Its not the temple where you start because thats under the temple mount in jerusalem and as Al Mualim says to you on your final mission before facing Al Mualim himself is something like "you first faced Robert De Sable in jerusalem and this is where you will find him again"

So yeah unless it is the beginning of Assassins Creed 2 then ive got no idea of what it is! Even with 100% completion of all flags all missions all glitches etc it is still blocked so mayeb there is something hidden in the game that you must need to do before you gain access.
