I got it by buying two defiants and one akira. Right when the level starts send the Akira to the two borg sphere's to the northwest and the Enterprise to the northeast to the planet the first cube stops at. After this send the two defiants to engage the three rectangles near the beginning of the level. You have to be FAST for that part. Once the akira is done in the northwest send her to take out the one sphere chilling to the southeast....this guy likes to warp in at the last moment and take out transports. The defiants should be done by now so send them to aid the Enterprise, as this is the spawn point for the borg ships. After the Akira takes care of that rogue ship send her over to the spawn point and wait until 15 transports are safe.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT attck the cubes, they actually help you out. When they take over a planet no more transports will come from it.
Hope this helps!

Just so i know is the objective for this one to not let any transports get blown up? I'm not 100% sure but it seems the most logical one (hehe Logic about a star trek game :P)

Its been posted on the site. I am currently working on this achievement and almost had it the other day.
You have to do it from the tactical view and use 2 ships to guard the sensor arrays one ship to attack the debris and a scout to shuttle the turrets in front of the planets and the sensor arrays.
Do it on ensign difficulty.:drunk

Actually,I just got Custodian of Phidian REALLY easily by sending my entire fleet to randomly destroy the debris at its spawn point. So,when the woman finally contacted me about using the turrets, there were barely any debris on the galaxy map.

I was able to get this very hard achievement easily thanks to this stratagy sent to me from UDGuy, all credit goes to him for this, I just want to share the knowledge with everyone who love getting achievements. So here it is as follows:
"This should work for you as I did this on Admiral. The first 20 seconds makes or breaks you here. ......
There are 3 problem areas to focus on right off. Right away, I warped one ship, bottom on the D-pad, my 2nd best ship to the bottom left of the top left planet. This may take more than one warp to get there. ...
Then I warped the Enterprise to the bottom left of the top right planet. Then I sent the two other ships to just to the right of where they start to intercept the 3 borg ships here. ...
Do this by selecting one of your ships, select 1/3 targets, quick phaser blast, select 2/3, phaser blast etc. This will engage all 3 at once. The enterprise should engage the borg automatically up top but you may want to check. ...
When the borg on the left are gone then warp ships to help the Enterprise. All future borg ships will go to this area. Warp away your ships as needed to repair. Do not worry about the large borg cubes as they only attack planets. ...
I lost a planet and still got the achvmnt. Let me know if you need more help. You need to engage the first 5 borg ships immediately so they do not attack the transports. THE END"
Thank You UDGuy!
That was the first thread I found when I was searching for Savior of Aurelia. I tried this out with the Enterprise, a Galaxy Class, and two Ambassador class ships. I resetted once at the very beginning when I didn't know where the first borg spheres were, turns out they were just a bit to the right of where my ships spawned, but the next try I got the achievement. I did accidentally send one of my Ambassadors to the top-left planet instead of my Galaxy, but since I was going for the Starfleet Ensign achievement too, it didn't matter much. All in all, my Enterprise went after a cube and I never saw it again, my Galaxy and my Ambassadors dealt most of the damage, running spheres around in circles, and took a great deal of damage as well, but they lasted fine. It's a pretty easy achievement.
I got the Custodian of Phidian on Captain difficulty some time ago, my strategy was just to warp all of my ships to the very spawn, divert all power to weapons, and let them go nuts. I had an entire battleship fleet for support there too, a Ambassador class, a Excelsior class, and I think a Constellation Class Refit. I put all three of my support ships in the asteroid spawn, between the sun and the planet it would destroy, and diverted my attention to the Stargazer, since the cruiser has a higher rate of fire, and I went by my tactical map to destroy the problem asteroids.
When the time came to play with the defense satellites I had a slightly bigger problem focusing, but then I figured out that they fire even when they're still being tractor beamed, problem solved. There are enough defense satellites to put one in front of both of the sensors, and carry one one two of your support ships, just through those two in front of the spawn first, put one of your ships on the problem asteroids that are getting close to your planets, and your last ship, the Stargazer at full engines, should ferry defenses to the two sensors and the planets. Now it's important when the biggest asteroid gets there, that you draw your two ships tractoring the defense satellites out of the way. If you don't, they'll destroy every asteroid that comes through, and you won't have anything left to hit the big piece with. I had to warp out just to find a rock to swing at it.

Really you didn't try to take control of any of the fleet? If I don't place a ship in front of the turrets one is always destroyed before the starbase contacts me.
Did you do this on ENSIGN difficulty?

Originally I did it on Captain difficulty, but when I was going through for the Ensign achievement it was noticably easier. On Ensign difficulty I didn't need to take control of the fleet, only to get them to tractor the pods to the asteroid spawn, and once or twice when I was busy elsewhere and I didn't notice a dangerous asteroid heading towards a planet.
On Captain I hadn't yet thought of grabbing the other pods with my other ships, so I did put them in front of the sensors, full power to weapons, and waited for the Stargazer to arrive with the defense nodes. But I still warped them all into the asteroid at the very beginning. Honestly, I don't think my Battleship fleet was the right idea there, I'd rather have the most powerful destroyers or cruisers available, something with a higher rate of fire.

Thanks I will try this again.
I didnt think the AI would protect my sensor arrays unless I manually took control of the ship.
I will use cruisers and constellation refits and warp them to the asteriod spawn and then use the tactical map to watch for sensor array threats.
Thanks for the tip.
EDIT: I can now do this one in my sleep with 2 constellation (Kirk Enterprise) Picard Stargazer and a scout.

i got the Custodian of Phidian by using the stargazer and 3 apollo class ships and i got it first try i just took turrets by the sensors and i could do it hella fast withthe apollos at full speed doing it that way made it one of the easiest achievements to get
