Flags in Boats in Damascus

There are a few flags in the canal in Damascus that I can't get... I've already checked the other posts about flags and found no tips... I have tried lining it up slowly, running at it fast, dropping off a ledge from above.... no matter what I do I end up in the drink and die... how do I get to the boats?

Make sure you are lined up perfectly, and I mean perfectly, and then just hold RT + A and lean the stick in the same direction. Or look around on the sides of canals, sometimes there are ladders that lead to platforms that are right next to the boats, or you can drop down from some houses as well.

Look around and you'll find a few spaces where you will be able to get to. Then its just a hop, skip and a jump to the flag.

There is one easy end to start at which is closer to the entrance to Damascus. The other end you have to be perfectly lined up to get there. If you can get in from where you try then move along and try. You can jump the full length of the canal basically with a few bridges you have to go around

make sure there are no drunks or anyone to push you around. there should be like a small ramp that allows you to jump into a boat 3 boats away from the flag. take your time and look before you leap.
