Because I am looking at the thing above, and certain ones in the Kingdom AREN'T THERE. Such as flag 60, I'm looking and looking, but no flag in the bushes! Do they all become accessible after I complete the 2nd block?

If you're sure they arn't there, then either reset the game, or start a new one. I was sure I got some Hospitaliser flags in Acre but it didn't register, so I started a new game and I got the achievement 10 minutes ago.

Plus, it lets you get the completionist achievement.

Best time is when you beat the game, reload Block 6 when you go after robert. Then just hunt for flags. Since all 3 districts will be open for all 3 cities. As well as the kingdom.

I say when you are able to start collecting flags, which is Memory block 2. Yeah you won't be able to get them all right off the bat, but it will save you the effort of having to look through a whole city.

Well, you can't collect all the flags until the you unlock all districts, but if you make a list and make sure you get all 33/34 flags in the various districts, just grab them as you play through.

I am with Deyankess1, the best time is after you beat the game, you have access to all districts in all towns so there is no barriers holding you back.

True a little tougher because all the towns know your idenity, but if you stick to the roofs you will be fine ^^

I just got the 1000 pst on this game and it was not that hard, but one mistake that I made was that I would pick up flags and not mark them off. Luckily, I realized the problem pretty early on in the game and I corrected it by printing up some maps and checking off what I had collected. My advise for anyone starting Assassin's Creed is to print up the maps for every district and for the kingdom and as soon as you can explore and area, get all the flags and check them off your list.

I collected the flags first and then I did the investigations and high points and then I did the assassination. First, get all the flags in Masyf that you can (the two in the garden of the castle you can get after your first assassination). Next, when you have access into the Kingdom, work on getting the 30 templars and the 100 flags (early in the game, you will not be able to get the flag on the stone pilar in the ruins section of the kindom. Come back to that flag after you get the griping gloves after the third assassination).

I would not advise waiting until you have finished the game because, while you are playing the story and not concontrating on the flags, you may accidently pick one up as you are running through the city. Then you won't know what flags you have and what ones you need. Hope this helps.

Its always been my view in situations like the AC flags and the Crackdown orbs that if you get them as you see them you will inevitably run into the problem that so many people are having in that you wind up with 99/100 flags and have to search 100 places, 99 of which are empty so you cannot necessarily tell if you have that flag or just cant see it.

I think the best approach is a systematic one. The second you get a new area, get the map, and get all the flags in one hit. Then prance around knives flying knowing that you have them and haven't missed any. This is particularly good for the cities since you will then tackle them 33 flags at a time instead of 100 at a time.

What I did was leave the flags alone until people posted maps of the locations because I got the game on launch day, and the only guides were the crappy Prima guides that had satellite topography or something for the maps, and made no sense whatsoever.

Because of Prima guides who also had the templar locations wrongly numbered, I am now missing 2 templars in the Kingdom, and the soldiers seem to always shout 'ASSASSIN! GET HIM!' before I even get close to them (trotting I might add, not galloping). It sucks. I'm not even going to bother with the Kingdom flags because of this :(

I agree wholeheartedly. A little to add to this is, when you do get the map online, save it to your computer, bring it up in MS Paint or similar program and erase/color over the flags as you pick them up. Helped me a bunch.

Are you doing it for fun, then?

If not, why not use the maps that are available now?
