This monitor?

Hey all. Considering getting this for christmas to use with my 360. I have the VGA cables etc. Just wondering how you guys think the 360 would look on it?

Well it has a nice contrast ratio, quick response time, It's relatively cheap, and it got solid reviews on amazon. If you're content with a 20in screen then I see no reason not to buy it.

Will it be able to display the 360 at its highest resolution?

I suppose my main query is about it being widesscreen. How ill it cope with games like Halo 3 where it is not widescreen?

What do you mean Halo 3 isn't widescreen? I have an HDTV which is obviously widescreen and have never had an issue. At first I had to adjust to it but that only took a few hours.

Well I currently use a normal non-widescreen monitor nd Halo 3 does not run with those black blocks at the top and bottom (I believe the correct term is letterboxing?). Unlike games like GoW. I assumed this was because GoW runs in widescreen and Halo 3 doesn't. Seems like I was wrong.

Well if you go into your video settings on the dashboard you can change settings like widescreen.
