I life in the netherlands and have a netherlands profile, but I have another profile wich I want to make american becausee than I have other downloads does anyone know how to make a profile american???(where should I exectly go to change this)...

When you create it you choose the country, choose U.S.

yeah, on the xbox 360 dashboard, I believe it is Console settings, then go to Locale. Then choose United States

I don't think that changing the country in your profile will allow you to download content that isn't released in your region.

so if i was to go onto my already made xbox live account, say i live in japan, then i would be able to download japan only stuff?

ok, you live in like the us i think, well if you do, then you cant download content thats only released in japan, like for example the ridge racer 6 demo. if you make a new profile, a silver account, and make it japanese then you will be able to download that ridge racer 6 demo, and any other japan only content, so if you live in the us, and have a gold account set up as us, then make two silvers, one for europe, and one for asia, you will be able to download any content that is released.

oooooo ok thats cool...i can download content with a silver only account? lol i never knew that i thought to be able to to anything on xbox live you had to have a gold account and yes i do live in the U.S i live in texas :)

You need to make a new passport account with american details so you need a random u.s address and phone number (these both need to be valid so do some googling!) then set up a silver profile with this passport account with the region set as usa and voila! it worked for me.

i just hate the stupid passport crap....but yeah thats cool, live in one place get lovin from all over the world :D

I just tryed it and it worked, you do nothing with your passport or choosing a different country when you sign up
