The automated feedback program is offered to Windows Vista and Windows XP customers only.
The survey feedback program applies to all versions of Windows.
Microsoft, comScore, and MarketTools employees are not eligible to participate. What exactly am I installing?
Quote:
You will be installing a small application called "Windows Feedback Panel" on your PC. This application starts up automatically every time you log in to Windows and silently collects data about your PC's hardware and settings as well as some basic information about how you use your PC. The first time the application runs, it also collects information about how your files are organized.

Personally, I'm going to do it, but not on this computer, I'll use the family one so they won't see everything I do and download. The soonest you'll get this would be mid-March, and even though it is Vista, they'll probably [and hopefully] have all the bugs worked out.

Who cares about the OS and if it sucks or not?

If you have Windows and have a family PC that gets used by a mother who just checks her e-mail and browses Amazon.com what's the problem?

Just do it for three months and then get some free software and turn around and sell it for a profit!

Fixed.

Vista was such a let down, it's not worth the effort to do it.

I don't understand why Vista's even in this conversation. You don't need Vista to be apart of the program, and you don't need to choose Vista as your prize.

I understand you dislike Vista, but who cares?

Originally, I meant Windows as a whole, but Vista does suck as I mentioned.

I was just sayin' it may not be worth it for people.

Yes I'm going to allow M$ to browse through my computer so I can have their shitty programs. I could get any of these things for free without the invasion of privacy.
