A stupid question -maybe- about the GLITCH

Okay, I know how to do the glitch & select a mission but how do you select the difficulty? I beat the game, so when you go to Magruder -last mission- to get the Insane Achievement is the game automatically on insane? :(

I think you have to start a new game, use the menu to select the final boss fight and then kill him. It's been a while so I don't remember the fine details. But if you aren't getting anywhere by just selecting the fight then try starting a new game instead.

Yeah, start a new game on that difficulty. The glitch only gives you the chapter select option, you don't keep your stats. But, it's easy to kill him without any powerups.

Thanks for the replies, I guess since you shoot the dynamite out of the air you only need the rifle to piss him off & the pistol for the dynamite.

Put this in another thread concerning this, if you're having trouble on Insane or Hard with no weapons try positioning yourself here. Magruder can't hit you.

Theres a glitch?!? I have been stuck at one part of the game on insane difficulty for....3 months now I think it is.
Can it be done if you have beaten the game, but the save has been overwrited? or do you need to beat it again?

If you have overwrited you will have to do the game again I think.

I'd try it either way, if it works it works, if not beat it on easy and do it then.
