Flag "Recovery"

There's no easy way to search the forum for this, and I checked the FAQ. I'm wondering is there a way to get the flags reset and still have the locations?? After you beat the game can you maybe go to a memory block where you can go to the location but have to start the flags over again? I'm stuck on Damacus, missing 1 flag somewhere in either the Rich or Poor district.

And if nothing else, can I finish the game and then load a memory block with the same flag progress??

Yes, once you beat the game, and view the credits to get the Visions of the Future Achievement, then you can go back into the Animus to review your old memory blocks. From there, you should be able to get the flags you've missed.

I just started a new game to get all the flags, and going one district at a time, and so far I am only at Damascus, so I started getting flags. I got all templars in the Poor District, but I am missing one flag(12) and have looked everywhere for it...I don't want to start a new one again...

after you beat the game and select one memory block. all the flag you had collected are still collect.

You need to get a map and go to all the locations again, to make sure.


Luke - I started it again and I had half the flags in 3/4 of the place. I done it because while I was playing it through on my first go I didnt ake note of the locations. So it would be impossible for me to use the maps. Im glad I done it, its so much easier this way.

get a map found in the thread flags/templar location forum. print one out and make a checklist or write down each number you get. take it one flag at a time. double or even trip[le check every flag. its a ppainstaking process. keep at it

Do NOT start a new game, just load old memory blocks.

Did you get Conversationalist already? If you did, I'd go back and hunt with a map, making damn sure that you check everything closely to make sure that you don't assume that you collected a flag previously that you actually missed on your run through. If you haven't, definitely start again - you'll have to anyway in order to get that achievement.

And if you use the prima guide...one of the maps, damascus I believe, is jacked up. It says there is 33 flags total....but there is a red dot labeled 34. Also, 2 dots are missing...17 and 26 I believe. The only way I was able to find them was to figure out the pattern of the flag layout and then look for the flags between flag 16 and 18 and 25 and 27.

Yeah, I DL'd a PDF version of the Prima guide and it is messed up. I got conversationalist and most of the flags. I just have to hunt for Templars now.
