Advice for Eagle's Challenge Achievement (kill 25 guards)

I'm not sure how many people are struggling with this achievement, but I found an easy way to do it.

When you first get to Acre, you'll notice a priest being roughed up that you need to save. If you lure a few of the thugs over to the city gate, you can get four more people to kill. Then, if you keep blocking and walking backwards, you'll find two clusters of soldiers on the road leading back to the kingdom. All of those should get you to 25.

The key is to never kill all of the soldiers you're currently fighting before you need new ones. As long as you keep a few alive, the fight continues (indicator is red) and you can keep adding more to the bodycount.

I have yet to actually attempt this achievement, but I've noticed from all of the larger fights I've been in that after I kill a bunch of them, the remaining one or two guards runs away. So I'm assuming that that would happen in a fight against 25+ enemies... Any advice for that?

Yeah. When your down to 4 or 5 guys run away and get more on you. When that number increases join in the fight again. But make sure your red thingy at the top of the screen stays red.

I don't remember what city I got this one in, but I just kept running around and letting guards chase me as more joined in that I ran by.

As I fought them I would always keep 3 of them alive then back off and look for more I just continued to do that until the achievement popped.

Not to tough in my opinion. just patience and staying alive.

I got it on my way to killing Robert.... Just run as fast as you can between the groups on guards and I got it :D

I got mine when i was assassinating William i think....the guy from Acre. I just missed him on the assassination and fought him with swords, killed him and there was like so many guards in that little confined space. It was pretty easy.

i got mine in jerusalem. get that big group od guarss outside, the guards at the gate, and keep backing up through the city until u get a high point guard tower to attack you.

Its definately not as bad as it sounds. All you have to do is get into a fight in a city and start moving from guard post to guard post while always leaving a few left alive to chase you in between. Just dont run too fast when youre moving through a city from one group of guards to another. Check behind you constantly to make sure the pursuing group is always at a reasonable distance. Also, its probably a bad idea to dwindle the group of guards to any lower than 2 because sometimes when its at one low ranked guard they will just get scared and run away. I have also seen two guards get scared and run away too but its very rare. You have to kill a large amount in a short amount of time from a giant group of guards judging from my experience.

wut i did was started a fight in the entrance of a city...when u do that kill off some of the guards so u dont have many attacking u at once.then just block and when more guards get on u kill them off and keep going untill u get the achievement... this also works Eagle's Fight achievement

This is actually pretty simple.. I did mine on the bottom left city (not sure what it was but it had a cross lol) and jjust attack the first group of guards, moved on to the next, etc... :D

Just make sure that you leave more then one alive, i've had one run away a million times, had sets of two run away less frequently.

If you're impatient and want the points quickly, the Citadel in the Rich District of Acre is, in my humble opinion, your best bet. Whether you do it when you're going to assassinate William of Montferrat or at some other point, it's not very difficult. If you're worried about having guards run off, it's especially easy when you do the assassination, since they won't let you run off if they witness you kill someone.

this achievement is easily unlock in the guard camp on the east side of kingdom map.( in the way of arce)

I did this in the Kingdom.....Guards are marching in packs. Run up to one get their attention and lure them to another group. Later on in the game it is even easier as the enemies are much higher in numbers.

I started at the zone line from the Kingdom into Acre, and was at around twenty kills by the time I made it past the city gate. If you do it that way make sure you always have four guys alive. I had previously had one or two run away at a time, but I had three guards run away almost everytime I tried this... Hahaha, so maybe mine isn't the best method.

I can confirm this as well...I got the achievement by fighting the guards in the camp just outside acre...the one with the pit...there was a brief 2 seconds of flashing yellow which made me mad as I was keeping count and had 20 kills....but I kept charging and hacking and 5 kills later....blink...achievement unlocked.

Practically any "Save Citizen" Optional quest for the last 2 areas of the game (Middle Acre and Middle Jerusalem) will alert so many guards to your presence that this will be a cinch.

Its awesome just getting so many guards on you at the one time...And then killing them all. I love it.
