10 landings

How on earth do you get this achievment I have landing at least ten times and then cleared the mission yet nothing.

Do you have to land in a special way or what?

Just do ten landings on 1 mission then finish the mission =)
Also dont hit start to land you have to do it the old fashion way.

I haven't done this yet but you can do it on mission two straight away. Just take off fly out a little bit, Wait for every to stop talking about the current objectives and then fly back and land. Repeat. Also I hear if you crash once it resets the number of landings back to 0. So be careful.

I just happened to use it whenever the option to land and rearm was availible, I was able to get this on my first time though the game. You have to do it manually, which I find fun anyway. On touchdown, you'll get it on the 10th successful landing.

Do I need to do this 10 landing in one mission?

Yep. Easiest on the second mission. You take off of a runway at the start. You have to protect the city from bombers. Fly straight off the runway until you pass over the city, pull a U-turn and head back to the runway. Slow down a bit on your way back as you still won't be able to land for a few seconds again. Make sure to destroy the bombers before they destroy the city though. You should have the ten landings completed a bit before the northerb-most wave of bombers appears.

Mine worked cumalatively.
I just landed when I felt like it throughout the campaign and it unlocked.

Also note that the landings must be on the runways on the mission map, not the runways that zoom you to anoother screen/aircraft carrier.
