Hey there,

New to the forums, so let me know if this works out well. I searched through the threads but did not see anything about this subject in particular.

The problem I keep running into is when you get into the one on one duels with a "Boss", at least that's what I think of them. You have the 3 positions that you can attack and defend with. My issue is that I press the up or down direction with the stick but it does not register very well at all. I am curious if others went through this problem and do you have to be so precise in the exact up or down position or it does not register? Or is it a wireless controer thing. I'd think not.

It's just so annoying to have to do this about 20 times just to get by it. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks.

when defending you have to move the stick into the positions when you see the faint circle appear around the circle that goes green or red when they attack. anything later won't register.
When attacking you need to switch up/down before your swords clash together or it will repeat your same attack again and do your new selection the next time.

hope this helps

Yo Skippy, I ran into the same thing, you gotta make sure the circle is green when defending.
I got in the habit of pushing the LS twice to make sure it registered.

Yeah, for a 'kid's game' some of the parts are a PAIN.

I too am finding it difficult, but it's one of those things where practice makes perfect !

Savvy ?! lol

The other thing is the computer contorolled character seems to get "tired" so just focus on defending for several volleys and its easier to get a hit in. Also mix up your attack (low, mid, high) as some characters seem to have a weakness.

the thing that i found to be the easiest was to just defend a series of attacks, that way your meter will fill half way. When it does that you can do a special move on the offensive. it goes by much faster and easier if you do this.
