Official Trailer Discussion - "Move Up Ladies"

In just over 2 hours, the internet will light up again as the new GTA trailer, "Move Up Ladies" touches down.

Various sites have reported that the two shots released yesterday (http://www.gta4.net/news/3942/2-new-screenshots/) were taken from scenes in the new trailer, however we are not so sure. Rockstar Games released screenshots prior to Trailer 2, and the very same claim was reported, even though none of the shots ever featured in the trailer. It was simply bad reporting by the sites that claimed it, and that could very well be the case again.

One hundred people voted in a topic (http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=301599) at our forum, to estimate how long they think the trailer will last. The majority of them (33%) believe the trailer will last for 1 minute, where as 30% predicted 1.5 minutes, 16% voted 2 minutes, and a very optimistic 10% voted 3+ minutes. Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 both lasted approximately 1 minute, and we are led to believe that Trailer 3 will last approximately twice that length (i.e 2 minutes).

wow, it looks like there is going to be a lot of fighting with a decent fighting engine in it. I am now looking forward to the game again and someone taking a really close look on this trailer and analysing it further

That was the best trailer i've ever seen. I literally can not wait for this game. I just hope that it has a steady framerate. If it doesnt there could be big problems....

I want to see someone actually playing the game with the HUD etc. Kinda dissapointing trailer I know it's going to be next gen graphics, I wanted to know what the gameplay is really like.

This is R* remember. You don't get to see that before launch. You never got to see that with any of the previous 3 on the old gen consoles and I would wager money on it not happening now.

I think April is a fair shout to be honest. So two trailers would seem about right. One in the middle of January and another at the beginning of March. Just a guess, that's all :p

yeah i guess your right but how much could they possibly reveal in new trailers? the basic story has already been roughly detailed through the last 2...what i really wanna see is a demo of the gameplay (yes i know it ain't gonna happen), but just showing me these video cut scenes sure is cool, but i think it'll get old soon...i just want this game to be released!!!

If I remember rightly, when they did San Andreas, the clips were just of different areas of the cities.

Maybe the other vids will just show new places around Liberty City, we haven't really seen much of the "rich" side of town yet, so that could be cool. Central Park could be a great video, ohhhh, the possibilities are endless :D

yes they are! thats what makes GTA so great...i really would not mind 1 or 2 more trailers, but as long as they do not give too much away because i still want that sweet element of surprise when i first pop the disc in and explore the city for myself...one thing i will say is that every time a trailer is released, it makes even more excited for this game

Yeah this trailer looks superb, just hope the gameplay is as good! I have never owned a GTA game before :eek: but i will definitely be getting this. Just the thought of exploring New York, sorry "Liberty City" :p and creating mischief makes me drool, roll on next year.

The first trailer was a great intro trailer and really got me pumped but the second one was alright but didn't really get me more excited about the game. I think the new trailer does a great job at beginning to capture the spirit of the game and is starting to show us more about the game itself. Definitely excited about this game and I have no doubt it will rock!
