On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the saving in this game.

I give it a 9, because it saves whenever you do anything, so that way, when you die, you don't have to redo anything.

so why not a 10?

anyway I like it, I get into battles with templars and it saves right by him so I can kill him!

i give it an 8 since it only saves if A) you do something that makes you progress or B) if you quit comepletely out of the game via game functions

would be a 10 if you could save anywhere, gets quite annoying if i have saved all civilians etc and i want to save because i'm working towards Combo Kills achievement, and ive just killed 5 guards with it. So an 8 from me.

I gave it a 1 because you don't have the option to save when you want or to save your position in the game. Autosaving is all well and good, but what if I want to save whilst trying to get 200 throwing knives pickpocketed and don't have time (somehow) to get them all in one go?

It couldn't have been too hard to just stick a save option in the start menu. Although subtitles are apparently too large a task.

A 8 is fine, it works great have yet to complain once about saving while I was playing but if it was a save anywhere then that would have been awesome.

Seriously man... I always said this game came from the loins of Splinter Cell and Oblivion, and they both had a save-whenever-the-hell-you-want feature.... AND an autosave... so why not this game...

Why does the game lose your information when you log off the game without logging off through the ingame options? I just lost 8 hours of searching for flags yesterday because I didn't know that it does that. I was under the impression that when you kill a templar, get a flag, complete a task, or go into a city, the game auto saves, this is not the case.

I like the auto save feature, I don't like having to start over on tasks I have already finished, or even have to start the game over (like to get conversationalist achievement, and perhaps maybe the hungrer of knowledge too D:) I learned in Oblivion that saving often, and under multiple files is the ONLY way to go, I was 1230/1250, and I had to go through Shivering Isles again to kill the other Duke, that was too much for me. I have also done the same with Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I would have played on Normal instead of Easy if I knew beforehand that I couldn't port my save to the next level up, now i'm 965/1250 there.

It saves after you get flags, I remember I got a flag on the *spoiler* docks right before killing Sibrand, I died about 8 times falling into the water, and each time I went back to the flag spot. I think it may be an option, or maybe not...

I like the fact that you can't just spam the save option and save right before you go in for the assassination. It kind of gives you that sense of "no return" when you break out of blend and go for the kill. If you screw it up, then you're back to the start, not back to a few seconds earlier.

yea, when you can save every 3 seconds it defeats reality any difficulty you have, besides possibly going up against something impossible.

I like the idea of saving whenever progress is made, but it simply doesn't really do it in alot of cases. After I defeated Robert De Sable it said the disk was dirty and shut down the game. Booted it back up, and I had lost 2 hours of progress. Why?

gave it an 8. i like the fact it saves often in case of freezing xbox's or faulty disk. But what if u have to leave. it REALLY sucks to have to go find something to do when you have to leave THAT second.

yea, but unless you've been running around in circles for a while you'll just loose a tiny bit of data.

Also, just don't do anything else, just play videogames, sleep, and eat.

I gave it a 9. I have not played this game much but so far saving has been very good and easy to do.

oh, yeah thats a problem, but that's because there is almost nothing you need to restart for (besides conversationalist)
