Missing Templar - Acre Rich

I'm having trouble finding the templar in the Acre Rich district that's on top of the cathedral...the one that looks like Notre Dame. If I go up there, his chest is there, but he isn't. I have not killed him, I just got to this area. Where did he go?

Nevermind, he respawned out of the sky and literally landed on my head.
