is it posible to save in middle of race day

is it possible to go back and redo races you already won and do better, like finish a race you had damage and finish without damage, will it save the better one.

Yeah, it autosaves after you complete each event, I just shut my Xbox off and when I go to load career it goes right to the raceday.

The racedaymenu even has a "Save" option....

what i was doing wrong was when i was done playing i would save and leave race day and then quit, instead of exit carrier,

Yeah DO NOT leave the raceday otherwise you will have to do all the races again.
