Defeating the barbarians on hard

ok so this game is like pirates of the carribean only a lot worse (imo)

Im playing it through on the hardest level and have got to the level where you have to kill the barbarians, i have killed so many but yet they keep coming, if i get raged i end up killing my own guys too as you can tell whos on what side when they are all red.

Does anyone have any tips for this? or should i start again on easier level, its driving me nuts.

Well if your having a hard time with this wait until you have to protect the Holy Relic in episode 11 .. NOT FUN .. until you play the game 4 times like me and can beat it in under three hours .. lol i played this game like mad the last week .

As for any tips i an give you for that part just stick it out .. if your gonna use Carnal just grab the enemies and snap thier backs or throw em .. its nessesary do as not to kill off your thanes .. but most of them will come after you so you can go crazy on em with your weapon of choice .. if you do kill some thanes thats ok as long as it is not that wiglaf guy .. if you see one of your thanes is in trouble buy the blinking red dot then help him .. but the best thing to do is really grab then kill while in the grab killing em slowy takes longer but it also evens out the numbers so you don't have 5 enemies on one of your thanes. Another thing to do is be right on them as soon as they drop down so you can just kill them off quick and your thnes will usually be tied up or to slow to get thier before you go carnal on thier asses.

I dont understand why so many people dont like this game... I think its pretty sweet, except for the cutscenes or whatever they are... those are bad. The fighting isnt that bad is it? Imalmost done with the game and so far I think its a good game.

Then again the last game I had to play was Shrek: The Third... and anything is better than that game.

Cheers number uno for the tips, i restarted on normal and did that part quite easy, im stuck on the second save the virgins part where the trolls throw them into the pit, is it me or is it buggy?

Sometimes its failing me when virgins havent even been killed, either that or their is an invisible troll.

man this level is driving me nuts.

Give me shrek 3 over this game anyday, im close to trading it in to be honest, ill have another try tonite if no joy its goin ;)

Well there is actually three trolls on that part .. and the best way to killl a troll is to go into Carnal fury and grab him then do the Y action so you jam your arm down his throat then hit him once or twice after jumping off him and he will be dead !

Actually i have done everything in the game 4 times just so i could make the best guide possible and have any good info to spread along to others like the best way to kill a troll and such !
