Extremly Easy Studs

In the first level of Episode 3 there are four red cannon-like things. In freeplay, select the Droid Trifighter and start the level. In the beginning, fly just above the for red cannons and hold down X (fires continuesly), if done correctly it will give alot of studs. After you pass all four of the cannons kill you self by hitting either the ground or the wall, this will make you respawn right before the four cannons, however you may lose a few coins but you will gain 3 times that. Keep doing that until you have the desired amount of studs. Also to save (http://www.****************.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61477#) time when your done and so you don't have to finish the entire level you can just play until right after the cannons where you dive down, grab the minikit(or the blue coin where the minkit would be) and the you will be able to save and quit.

*Note - You will get alot more coins playing with two players and with stud multipliers. When I did it I was playing with my friend T DOG FRESH and we had the multipliers x2, x4, x6, x10, and we got four million in one trip over the cannons. If you don't have any multipliers it will still work but it will take a little longer.

I actually found an easier way go to the beach area in the revenge of the sith I think part 4. A whole bunch of guys come out of the beach and go to a specific area in the woods. turn on your perfect deflect, invincible, and use a zip tie and press forward with zip tie and to the the one area where all the guys go to. They will be blocked and when they try to shoot your perfect deflect will reflect back and they pop into coins you wont get hurt due to invincible turned on. with all multipliers on it will take 30mins to max out the stud counter with 2x and 6x on will take about 12 hours to get the 20 million I believe etc...

After that, don't buy anything until you get your 2x modifier.
When you get 2x, grab character studs if you want, but then go right for 4x, and then 6x, etc.

I recommend grabbing 10x before getting 8x, but it just so happened that I had the required number of studs when I unlocked 10x, before getting around to unlocking 8x. And with the 10x enabled, getting 8x is a breeze.

going for gopher, put on exploding blaster bolts and invincibility in addition to character studs, stud magnet, and the modifiers, then play through a few levels looking for minikits or whatever, you'll have it in no time.

Cost for the 2x was 1.25m, so its not difficult to get. Just by completing Jedi master in as many as possible will net you this way before the end of the game on your first pass through in story mode. Just don't buy any characters.

To clarify:
2x is confirmed @ 1.25mil
4x is confirmed as 2.5mil
6x is confirmed as 5mil
8x is correct @ 10mil
10x is correct @ 20mil

It simply doubles the cost each step up.
Great tip on the cannons. Even with x2 (this was luckily one of the first power bricks I found which conveniently opened it and i already had 1.1mil in the bank) on single player it has seen me get another 2.5mil in about 20mins (I saved and exited half way through in case it crashed or summat). Will come back for the 4x multiplier. Aiming for the 6x as a starter.

How do you enable the 2x, 4x, 8x, etc. I have them purchased, but my studs are still the default 10, 100, 1000 values for collection.

Just go to "Extras" in the pause menu and when see them, hit "A" to enable it. Simple.

I noticed this too when I was doing super-story for episode III. I had 80,000 of my 100,000 studs after the first level.

I found that with "stud magnet", "character studs", and the multipliers all turned on. I average 500 million studs per level. So you can easily get the "Gopher" Achievement just by playing through Free Play as you collect your Mini-Kits.

Man this is the best tip for the whole game. It works great with all multipliers turned on, and will save alot of time collecting studs.
