i bought king kong for £50 about $120. beat in a day then took it to the shop (GAME) and they were only giving £5 for it. LMAO

Talk about deappreciation(i think thats how u spell it)

You do realise that game have a no quibble money back guarantee so if you take it back within 10days (with the receipt) you will get a full refund

Yes thats right. You should be able to take it back before the 10 days are up at GAME. I bought my copy from ebay at £19.99

I don't get why you would buy a game for $120? Just go to some US gaming site and have them ship it to you, that would be like $70.00

its not $120 he got the exchange rate completely wrong at most a new game would be $80 and king kong is probably cheaper than new now anyway

He could have been talking in canadian dollars... also, sounds like his console is PAL, so he couldn't get games from a US site.

Yeah UK really does get done over for games, I mean it's £280 for a 360 although it's a great system and all compared to the americans $400 we're getting a bit done over.
I'd take the game back with the receipt, get a new 360 game, get the achievements then rinse and repeat. lol

And yeah we always get shafted, £50 brand new games = suck.
Lucky I got this for £5.
Even Dead Rising and Enchanted Arms were only 45/40 when they came out, which was slightly better than usual.

Bought it used for 17.99 from gamestop.

Retuned it 5 days later and they put the 17.99 back on my debt card.

I was only working for store credit but o well.

Used games at gamestop/ebgames can be bought and returned for any reason as long as you have reciept and wint 10 days
