i was wondering if anyone has figured out how to unlock ace of aces mode???

It seems to be a general consensus that it;s going to be DLC, since there doesn't seem to be anyone who has unlocked it.

yeah i was thinking maybe all aces and all medals but dlc sounds like a possibility

Complete The Campaign mode on the Expert difficulty setting to unlock the The Ace difficulty setting.

He's not talking about Ace mode, he's talking about Ace of Aces mode.

I don't know if this is too late or not, but as far as I know, it IS DL content. Also, you must complete the game 100%. So, beat the game entirely, then DL some stuff. Unlocks Ace of Aces mode. I dunno if this "100%" includes achievements.

Reports by two players on GameFAQs appear to verify that completing all of the Achievements (getting to 1000 points) does NOT unlock anything, esp. 'Ace of Aces' difficulty. It would appear that 'Ace of Aces' difficulty is indeed DLC, but is not available yet. It's a good bet that it's paid DLC too, as this is a trend that Xbox Live and Namco have been following to date for just about all DLC.

It would also appear that getting to 1000 points does not get the player the title of 'decorated ace' either: I have noticed that several players I have played with on-line who had 1000 points were NOT announced as 'decorated aces' at the start of matches. The title 'decorated ace' appears to be exclusively associated with getting (boosted) high scores in Ranked Matches.
