Question stuck skrull lair plz help

I'm facing a orange beam and can't get passed it... It does damage if i run in to it. It's in skrull lair.

Does anyone how to get by it?

If this is in Act 1 and it's in the room with 4 station looking things and a vertical beam in the middle, then you need to use Johnny Storm, and use his flying ability, just hold the right trigger, and double-tap the A button, this will fly you up above the beam and you will be able to deactivate it and open the door. If it's later after a tiny cutscene, then you have to go through the open door, kill some guys, (you will get a Reed Hint) and then you just need to kill all the enemies and an "open door" pedestal will come up from the ground in the tunnel past the pressure plate. This will allow you to go forward to the elevator.
