You ever notice most of the time he doesnt kill the guards completly but instead lets them bleed out and die in pain. Just saw that today as i was playing.

well, not always, if you kill them while they're down (knock them down then bash them in the head with your sword) then they're dead (or if you use your hidden knife or use certain counters.)

oh, yea, it makes sense. In real wars and stuff people would just bash the guy until he stopped trying to get up, so yea, they're just gonna fall over and squirm until they die from pain or blood loss.

Altair is a busy man. He has not time to worry about petty guards when there are heads of cities to slay!
Mwahaha!

....
I've been playing too much Assasin's Creed.

I find it annoying that when they 'die' they keep screaming for ages. Since I have to have the volume louder than a heavy metal concert to hear any of the dialogue I don't want to have to hear "GGGGRRRYYAAAAAARGGGGGGGH. AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH! YYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWZZZZZZEEEEEERRRRRRRSSSSSSS!" just for killing one guard, especially when I have to talk to someone afterwards and can't hear what they say.

Another blow to the reputation of Assassin's Creed for me.

Try wacking them with your sword, works for me (after they're "dead")
