Americans: here is how to download the extra levels TODAY.

I'm too excited to go into great detail, because I'm going to go play them now, but go buy a prepaid 1600 point card at your local Wal-Mart or Gamestop, make a Korean Xbox Live account, put the code in, and Bam. English file titles, totally self-explanatory. Sign back into your regular account, and there are the levels. Works perfectly.

Making a Korean account is not easy as pie. You have to Google what their postal codes look like, but it was easy enough for me to do without anyone holding my hand, so figure it out. You're a smart kid.

If you download these, prepare for it to become very difficult to tell other people what's missing from your collection. I now have two seperate collection percentages: my original 100%, as well as a new secondary percentage grade. There are now new gaps shuffeled in among most of the categories, and the crowns for which categories are completed... Well, it kind of seems like the crowns are glitched now. I don't know what's going on with the crowns, because I have categories that have lost their crowns, as well as categories that are crowned, but have items missing.

Okay, now that I've played each level once, that wierd crown glitch has cleared up.

This is good stuff you guys are missing out on. New areas, more gimmicky levels like in We <3 Katamari. Crazy things. It's seriously like getting the other half of the game. I'm having a ball.

Grrr, I had like 2600 points ready to go on my main account and don't want to buy a separate one for this. I really hope they release it normally soon.

You don't have to pay anything for the Korean account, just the points you put on it, all but 100 of which you were going to spend eventually anyway, and you can still use those 100 to download some other little thing in the future, as long as it's available to Koreans.

Yeah but I can't transfer my points to the Korean account is what I'm saying, they're locked to my normal account. So I'm just going to wait.

When I check the leaderboards for these new levels, I'm depressed on behalf of the Katamari franchise, because I could fit all the people who've played them into a single mall food court.

I wouldn't be surprised if years go by, and you realize Namco never got around to releasing the levels, because monetarily, releasing them isn't worth the time it would take them to make that decision.

If you're finding cousins/presents, let me know so I can update the other thread. They disappear once you get them, so if you want to make a secondary account to refind them and let me know, that would be great. The cousins respawn though, so those shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, and something else I can tell from the leaderboards: nobody else had figured this out. For the moment, this is kind of exclusive news. The only other Americans I see on these leaderboards seem to actually be living in Japan, with Japan-exclusive games on their gamercards.

I'll be happy to help with locations in a few days, but I'm looking at some marathon Rock Band sessions in the nearer future.
