Achievement Glitch: Check it out - free achievement

I just got the 'absolute symbiosis' achievement and am nowhere near the end of the game. this is how it happened:

I just did an assassination (my 5th) and got sent back to my man in asaraf at the castle. I saw a cut scene where I demanded to know the link between my targets and then I got awarded my upgrade which was to carry more daggers.

I was tired and thought i would call it a night, so i clicked the exit to animus and the screen came up where i was looking at the animus display. i looked to the right option to leave the animus.

Just as the camera cuts to the top view and my guy starts to get off the table i pressed the 'start' button and selected 'quite game' and exactly at that moment as i clicked 'quit game' the achievement pops up.

weird.

I am on my 6th assassination, surely this shouldnt have happened. check my gamercard.

the achievement can be obtained without beating the game, saving civilians and finding view points can all add up to the 15 points you need to add another section to your bar, along with killing the targets.

just had the exact same situation happen to me, I am on memory block 4 (just finished) I got taken out of the machine and went to my room, realized I didn't go open the door with the code and just quit it to load most recent save and recieved the achivement.

How many notches does this take? I have more than I started the game with. I have 1 row + 4. I guess I takes 2 rows 18 total.

I do most of the side missions first but I'll give it a try

this is actually an easy achievment to get legit.

just rescue citizens and find high points and you're good to go

This just happened to me too. I think I have 16 of the blocks, but when I quit out of the game I got the achievement.

I just got this too. Only got 17 blocks. Would rather have got it when i was supposed to though.

This just happened to me so I came here to see if anyone else has noticed it and here you are. I only have 1 1/2 bars filled, I exited memory, exited animus, and then quit the game and it popped up, just like what happened to you.

i just did exactly what the OP said to do. Same place and everything. I got the Achivie.

I managed to get this one early as well, but not like you pulled it off.

I was about 6 bars away from having a full sync bar and decided to call it quits for the day. I cant recall where I was at in the game when I got it. After I had found a spot to save in the game, I exited out of the Animus and up popped the achievement for the Synopsis or w/e achievement. I was like "what the hell?"

I was pretty far away from beating the game. I got the game last Tuesday when it came out, then about Thursday I got the achievement. Beat the game on Sunday.

I got the achievement for saving all the people in Jerusalem on the second to last person saved for some reason...

just did what you said and yes it pops up when u exit the game when u r desmond
