Ok, so here's the deal, I downloaded Photoshop CS3 Trial version (30 days)

I've just been looking at a few tutorials I've never done this kind of stuff before so advice is welcome.
I've run out of ideas :(

Some advice, Get your hands on Photoshop so you can't stop I think that's number one because if your gonna get into it.. You are NOT wanna get out trust me there =P.. But also when using your text try not to use grunge fonts when you have an abstract sig =P

For a one color border:

New layer (put it on top)
Select all
Edit > Stroke
Width: 1 (Size is up to you)
Color: Black (Color is also up to you)
OK

Check around www.dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com). They have plenty of categories and most of the fonts are nice there.

Damn, the halo 3 sig is kickass, just add a border around it and it looks pro. ;)

Nice sigs! Loving the halo 3 and assasins creed! Just a tip- For the Assassins Creed sig the effect you have off his right hand is a bit much... but overall GET PHOTOSHOP!

Busy doing Coursework at the moment, but I'll get round to it at some point :)
