the way i see it they can't go wrong with this game, i trust rock star knows what they are doing. it will be awesome and i think the achievements will be fun to get too.

It has been my number one most anticipated game for quite some time now. Still can't forget when I found out it wouldn't be coming out until next year. At least there have been plenty of other good games coming out so it isn't that bad and we need some good games coming out in those dead months and GTA IV will be a great game around that time with nothing else to play.

i think its pretty much guaranteed that this game will be amazing...rockstar has lived up to the hype with each game following GTA III, and i doubt they will dissapoint...it will be revolutionary

In a way I'm kind of glad that there aren't any planes because it made the game world small in San Andreas to me. Rockstar made Liberty City bigger than before and it should be great. It'll will take more time to explore which increases the life of the game but It will be a great game. I hope the achievements are 1000 1 pointers lol That would be awesome, too bad that won't happen but I hope the achievements are really good.

I know it is going to rock but i am not into that type of game or games. If this one has a better storie line than the past couple i might get it. If they remake the originals and add them to the marked i woulod down load them for sure. But at the moment i am not going to buy GTA 4.

yeah i completely agree...in san andreas, you could hop into one of those jet fighters, and be across the whole map in less than 30 seconds...it made the entire world seem smaller than it actually was...the achievements for this game will be good, not necessarily hard, but still good and fun to work towards

It all depends on if the game is rushed or not. It being delayed already doesn't necessarily mean it will be finished when it ships. I hate rushed and unfinished games.

It will obviously, the fact that they delay it so much means that they care about it and aren't going to half-ass it, and seeing the things they've done in the past, it can't be bad.

I wasn't overly keen on the main character or location but its a grand theft auto so of corse it will still rock. :)

Let me point out a couple of things.

1) GTA LCS had mutliplayer, so GTA:IV better have it or I'm going to whine
2) More realism this time, based in a true city, with a cover system, and more realistic cops i.e. when you smash a cars window to jack it, they'll notice and give chase
3) Everything will be done by mobile phone - missions, weapon drop offs etc
4) No more getting fat or muscles bull. Straightforward crime.
5) Graphics overhaul

Finally

6) ACHIEVEMENTS!!!! What better game then GTA to have achievements? I must have clocked in something insane like 3000 hours on GTA III alone, so achievements will only enhance gameplay! No more aimless freeroaming!


This game will be absolutely amazing, and even if it does fall short of what people are expecting, it will still offer that atmosphere that all the other GTA's have done in the past! YES IT WILL ROCK!

I think it will be a let down, considering how expansive and huge San Andreas felt compared to the tight vice city and the repeating gta3. I'm hoping they don't just do new york city but the entire state, get some NJ in, just make it as large and different as San Andreas felt.

Dude, grand theft auto has always been awsome (and controversial) and i doubt that this one will be any less. Saints Row kicked major :ass and i think it was better that GTA:SA. We will see whats in store for GTA IV

I know that this GTA will be more realistic then the other ones. I just wish there will be something similar to the Jet Pack in GTA:SA. Even if it is a cheat that unlocks it. I think I peed my pants from excitement when I got it while playing GTA:SA.
