The best thing to do is to wait for Pappy to enter the main house and watch him go upstairs. And wait for him to settle on the map.

Weapons achievement - TO obtain this achievement, you must finish the level carrying the weapon or store them in the Agency boxes located around the level. Don't ask what these are. Use your initiative. (In other words, black boxes round the level) :p

you can also get the Dragonov in the Crows mission...it's on the 2nd floor in one of the clubs where Angelina can be found (the black crow).

IMHO, the easiest way to get the druganov must be at the first (training) mission. when you're about to pick up the mine and detonator from the ICA weapon box, just store the druganov there and it will be unlocked ;)

Cause you can only carry one rifle, i.e. sniper, m4, etc.

You can carry as many single handed concealable weapons as you want though.

Im missing 1 last sniper rifle. Its the top left one on the last pillar. You have MP7 twice on your list Webb, is that a mistake or is there something Im missing? Thanks.

I figured out what was wrong. For some reason I noticed a couple times a gun I was sure I had had at one point ended up disappearing from my hideout. I noticed this with 3 or 4 weapons and the missing weapon was the elephant rifle which I knew I had at one point, I made a run into the bayou just for it. Thanks anyways. One achievement to go :)

How can it be wrong in your opinion, it's in the rifle case the CIA agent is carrying.... Hmmmmmm. Don't get that.

Not sure about the DRAGONOV problem, sounds like a glitch. Try getting it from another level.

I have all but 2 weapons on rookie. Can i get the last 2 on normal?

I having problems with the SSG52 and the other sniper on mirder of the crows as when i pick them up, i cant cross the street to get to the weapon box in the building you start in to store it without getting owned.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to get all the weapons on one difficulty so that the hideout is full.

Finally, with Murder of the Crows. What I did was finished all the objectives, making sure I finished with Purayah and then grab his weapon and ran down the middle of the street through the crowd so the police wouldn't see me and then escape via the exit shown on the map.

There's a sniper and a SSG52 in the level and i also found it impossible to get out with them both.. only got out with the sniper

You can't get out with both (carried anyway) as they are both rifles and you can only carry one at a time. I simply played the level twice.

How did you get the SSG52 out of the building and accross the map without everyone freaking out and killing you? I tried running through the middle of the street & I didn't get past the next block. Although I did have some funny failures through my trials & major errors. I even detonated a couple mines in distant crowds to divert attention. That didn't end well but it cleared the street!

I had that problem too for a few guns. I played the game on professional first (and picked up alot of guns) and tried to complete the set after the first pass through, in the end, I just waited till I finished the game on rookie difficulty, and got the guns then. On rookie, with a flexible bullet proof vest, and some painkillers, you can take on a small army and not die, you don't even have to worry about being shot because they rarely hit and do little damage.

Maybe do the gun achievement on an easier difficulty where you don't have to worry so much about being seen?

Nevermind, I got it by dropping a couple mines down my path before I offed Parchezzi, taking out every yellow bird, dentonating the two mines killing most of the cops & people on that part of the street, & Ramboing my way through the backdoor of the starting restaurant to the exit. I almost acidently killed the politician! His bodygaurds wouldn't stop tryin' to blast me! Although I guess I should've tried it on Rookie. I had to be an idiot and do it on Pro.:uzi:

however whenever i go see him he is in the club fartest to the right and there is no gun in the room he is in, and he only has a hand gun with him

is there anywhere else i can get it or where is it in that level?

That was the only level I found, have a search around the room where he is, it could be up against a wall or something.

It will only be in the room of the club he is in, not both.

It's in the room where you deliver the diamonds to him, behind the desk where he asks you to place the diamonds... after you blow him up (If thats how you wish to kill him) then just walk in and walk out....

I have that one as well... All I rememeber that I got it from the last person I killed and that i killed them after climbing a staricase to approx. the 4th floor and then choking him.. Then i took it and ran for the exit.. They should be standing beside a mirror with the Rifle leaned against the wall, it's in that room (it's a small room)

The snipers are found -
The shooter in the black bird suit on A murder of crows (kept in whichever bar the shooter is in, on the top floor, right next to the target.
The bedroom of the father on "Till death us do part"
On the floor (but in a case) against the table on "A dance with the Devil" where the laptop is which you have to search through and where you kill the angel woman if you follow most of the video walkthroughs.

I'm only missing 4 guns and 3 of them are from "The Murder of Crows" and the other is from the white hosue mission and it's the M14... Still haven't beat that mission

It on the table right beside the guy that's playing his violin in the level "Vintage Year" Wait until he's playing his violin on the chair in front of the window, poisin him, then the gun will be an option once you're beside his body... look at the table... (He's wearing a white suit if the violin isnt enough..)

Does anybody know if the Custom 1911 can be used? I got it on Amendment XXV and Requiem but it doesn't show I have it on the other missions I do.

Last time I checked, it was a weapon, thus, the weapon thread should be used!

It's not one of the achievement weapons, but I did use it on the levels I picked it up on. I thought you could select it for levels, like the nail gun which isn't at the hideout as well but can be used.

just a quick note, that you cant obtain the Dragonuv from the Training level, i tried to place it in both of the two boxes, and then left with it after completing the level, just checked the hideout and its not there either, so im guessing it cant be retrieved from there

however, has any actually managed to get it from there?

I've been trying to get the sniper rifle out from the Crows mission, I've left with it in my hand and in the ICA container and neither times it has appeared in the hideout, has anyone found a way round this?

Is it because of the witnesses or the fact as I'm leaving the police are shooting at me?

Well, when I completed this level. I had witnesses AND the police were shooting at me as I left, so I doubt this is the problem.

Found the problem, it helps if you use the actual ICA crate and not the one by the piano winch... least I've learnt to use the map more! lol

Hey all,

Can somebody tell me the weapons on the last pillar, they all have scopes.
Someone did tell me that theres a picture of each pillar with the names of the guns attached, but i've never found it.

Guys im having trouble, I got EVERY SINGLE gun EXCEPT one, and I dont know where it is and its not on the list. In the hideout, its the gun thats on the same shelf as the AIR RIFLE and FN-2000, its below the FN-2000. Some type of auto-matic rifle.

Doesn't the sniper crow use a Dragunov? I don't think any weapons from Death of a Showman will be counted, if they are then the Dragunov should as well.

a useful tip is that you can store any weapon in the ICA location.
so any inconceivable weapon, just put them in the ICA box on your map and they'll be added to you list and also hideout
