Got the Game today

Got the game today in the mail, and I must say its worth the bucks. Havent played the story so much, got stuck trying to find the 20 flags that are hidden in the first villiage :/


Edit: The villiage is called Masyaf and you get an achievement for the flags ;)
Edit 2: You can find 18 flags in Masyaf before you must do your first assasination mission, the last 2 are in the backyard of the castle after the mission (theres a gate closed before that) ;)

Yeah, I know some guys in that region and they were playing Halo 3 before us here in the states. I could pick both your brains about the game but then there wouldn't be anything left. Plus it might hurt to pick your brains. So many questions, so little time.

there's 2 flags in the back yard, can't get them until you've done your first assasination mission.... and another one thats "hard" to find is when you leave the castle, jump down the ledge (the so-called shortcut ^^) and there should be a flag to you right, next to a guard...

Another flag that you've might have missed is in the canyon where you where heading for the logs when doing save the villiage thingy ^^


Got all the 20, but tried getting them before I did my first mission, so the last 2 was anoying... untill I found out I had to do the mission first :/

Just about 5 hours or so for me still. I'm trying to get as much school work for college out of the way now so I have time to play it once I get it in my hands. What really sucks though is that I will eventually have to sleep tonight seeing as I have to work at 6Am tomorrow morning. Gay.

The flags are like hidden packs in GTA... they are small and glows in the dark ^^


On a siden note cleared the game today...

Once you have seen the credits, you can replay any of the "blocks/chapters" as you want...

Quite usefull when going for the flags ^^

is it possible to do alot of the side quests and flags before hitting the main missions? i really want to explore and do the side missions way before hitting the main missions. This way i will have alot of mapped info which i learned about the cities which will help me in the main missions.

lets just say you got all the time in the world, when you follow the plot, and you need to assasinate someone, you must first gather intel... meaning walking jumping running through the city... can involve pickpocketing or beat the information out of someone :D

You can also climb "high spots" that when you reach the top, you reveal all that you need to know in the nearest area (like a citizen needing help, or who to beat up to get information about the assasionation mission).... after you have collected the information, perhaps found some flags (or all the flags).. you need to go to the local HQ to get permision to start the assasination (can still explore while doing mission ^^)

the 3 cities has 3 district each, rich, medium and poor... when you reach block 6 you have access to ALL the areas and thats when you can get All the flags the city has to hide (not counting acres... the 3 district in acres have 3 different flags, 1 for each district, so you can complete the 2nd flag hunting (it was either 33 or 34 flags [total in the city is 100])sidequest if you spend some time hunting flag in acres. And while you are searching for some flags you will find the templars ;)

still, all the missions have 2 optional quest save citizen and reach high points (its an easy task)....
