Downloadable Planes

Does anyone know if the down-loadable planes can be used in SIngle player missions? I'm not very good on XBL and i don't do alot of online-play so it would be a waste of money for me to but planes if they cannot be used in single-player.

Yes they can, and they are actually very good to start off the game with. I love the halloween paint scheme! :D

Yeah, it's sweet. Thanks for the info, i love my "new" planes. Speaking of planes does anyone know what planes are the best to buy? I know the F-22 Raptors are in it somewhere. I loved the new Transformers movie/game. It will be like flying Starscream into battle...sort of.

You pretty much get all the planes except the uberplane by completing it on normal. F22 is the last one you get I think.

How do you get the "uberplane" and what is it?

It's the CFA 44 Nosferatu Fighter. Beat the game on Hard difficulty. It will appear in your hangar, purchase it for $229,500. It makes getting all the achievements in the game a snap since it's so overpowered.
