Impaling Enimes

How do you actually go about impaling them? I only managed to get the first achievement for that just before the first boss battle, in the same arena, by knocking one of the barbarians into the gate before it rose, impaling him.

But surely, there's a much easier way to do such a thing....

Just hit B to pick them up, then aim and throw them at spikes. :)

Try the area where you have to rescue akanna's men, just look for the spikes near the support pillars for the upper levels.

any good spots later in the game to do this? Or is the beginning levels really the only good time to do it?

As for your first question, the beginning is the best place to do it. As for your second question, I don't have a damn clue.:confused:

Just curious but if i get to a stage with loads of spikes, but dont get the achievement, if i get myself killed, then carry on from the last check point, does the kill count reset??

All the chest\maidens up to a checkpoint will be saved but if you get a chest or a maiden on the way and you get fu*#ed up and start back at the checkpoint you have to get them again so that might happen I cant be sure,Me not done that
one yet.So now that you have brought that up I will just treat it like that to be sure.This is a alright hack an slash but has some painfull things wrong with it.It will hold me till DMC4 comes anyhow.

i got this achievement yersterday. i started to spik em on the stage where u need to save those locked up guys.

after this stage u have save the ship using those big archer bows. around the bow are also spikes and loads of enemy's.

and ofc the boss of the pirate levels. many spikes there.
