Ok guys. With the release of one of the most anticipated games in history looming ever closer, I am filled with excitement about release of Assassin's Creed. This game is gonna be so sick. I personally am leaving school early next Tuesday to pick this up. I have been waiting for this game for many years now, which is goin to make finally playing it that much sweeter. Who here is taking a holiday on AC Day to get your hands on this as soon as possible?

Release date is Nov. 13 for the US. I cannot wait.

*I have school also but im not goin. My professors can just kiss my ass. I let them know like last month that they shouldnt expect me in class Nov. 13. I even told them it was because Assassin's Creed is coming out that day. When they asked what that was I said "Its a video game that is gonna be more awesome than anything you can teach me that day." They didnt like it too much but oh well. AC Day is upon us.

I'm gonna stop by my local Wal-Mart with a buddy of mine who also has been waiting for this game since it's first announcement. I can't wait. We're gonna pick it up that Monday night at midnight and of course I have to work Tuesday morning at 6AM so there's no way in hell I'm gonna get any sleep that night!

yea us in the UK the games always seem to come out on a friday, ready for the weekend :) i'll prob get the game looks real good, differnet that what i would normaly go for but its a change from the normal fps i like :) tho i need some cash :)

Actually guys it's the 14 not the 13th. It ships on the 13 if you're ordering it online but you wont be able to pick up a copy in the stores until the 14th. It's always one day later than it says on sites like ebgames.com and IGN.com as well.

yeah thats the way its gonna be at the gamestop i work at, on the computer it says november 13 but we will be lucky if we get it that day, so yeah might as well as just go pick it up on the 14th. thats what i tell everyone who asks when its coming out

well the manager at my gamestop said he is gonna get them in on the 13th about noon and start selling them then. Even if he doesnt sell them publicly i still get my copy on the 13th cuz im awesome like that.

I've worked at an EB Games and unless that manager wants to get in big trouble he better not sell them on the 13th. If they sell them before the street date which is the 14th then they'll be in big trouble.

I know that word, I just can't remember what kind of word it is. It's like awesomeness, which I use a lot. I used it in Oblivion when I created my character, he was a master of Awesomeness.

ok. i havent confirmed this yet but the manager at my gamestop told me Assassin's Creed for the 360 got delayed til the 20th because they had to put it on 2 discs. Can anyone confirm whether this is true or hear-say?

I had a real scare today guys. The day before i pick up Assassin's Creed i turn on my 360 to play CoD4 and guess what happens. Red Mother F***ing Ring of Death. I was f***ing pissed. But after i calmed down i told my mom that if she loved me she would give me money to get a console to play while i wait for slow ass microsoft to get mine straightened out and she said yes. I could hear angels rejoicing in the heavens. She said the only condition was that i give my little brother the system i get today when i get mine back. I agreed so YAY Im gonna get to play AC on release. That is what you call Uber Maternal Awesomenessicity(UMA). I loves my mommy. YAY MOMMY!!!!

FINALLY!!! Its here. I can finally go pick up my copy of Assassin's Creed as soon as my Gamestop opens, which is in just a few minutes. Its been a long time coming but its finally come to us. All Hail AC Day 2007. I am officially declaring Nov. 13 a National Holiday. Everyone take off of work or school early today. Tell your boss or teacher or whatever DropDeadArtemus has pardoned everyone from the long and torturous work day to play Assassin's Creed.

*EDIT* Called Gamestop and the UPS shipment got delayed til tomorrow the 14th. That is a huge disappointment but at least i got CoD4 to hold me til then. And i have officially redeclared AC Day as Nov. 14.

You didn't get the in-store warranty for your console? I did with my first one and I'm glad I had it because my first 360 lasted 6 months. I'm going to get one for my 360 #2 tomorrow when I pick up Assassin's.

well an in-store warranty wouldn't have helped seeing as that warranty would only last what...a year? And it crashed 6 days after that year would have ended.

Boy that sucks, you could have got another one but then you have to pay $40 more. I say it's worth it because then I'm not without my console for 6 weeks and $40 a year isn't a lot.
