Brain gaming will hit overdrive in January when Majesco releases Mega Brain Boost for Nintendo DS, a single cartridge that compiles previous releases Brain Boost: Beta Wave (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3155024) and Brain Boost: Gamma Wave (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3155026), along with a third, original offering of mind exercises. "By packaging three distinct games within one game cartridge and pricing the total package at $19.99, we're offering a great deal of value to consumers looking for quality entertainment," said Ken Gold, VP of marketing at Majesco. "Each game within Mega Brain Boost offers a completely different set of fun, yet challenging, brain training problems designed to enhance mental acuity."
Like Nintendo's Brain Age (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3145388) games, the Brain Boost series packs a series of minigames -- such as math problems and color recognition -- purported to improve mental acuity in minutes a day. However, we found the original Brain Boost games to be "an exercise in drudgery (http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3159187)," so we're interested to see if the new additions truly improve the overall experience.

^^^Now this should definitely keep your brain awake!;)
