As I rushed out my door at about 1:00 PM today, I rushed to put on the rubber bands on my Xbox 360 Controller to keep the game from going away while I tried to get the 50 hour achievement (Yes.. I know that it doesn't matter if I go away or not.. just read that).

When I came back at 1:30 AM in the middle of the night (Partying, woot!), I checked Beautiful Katamari and awaited to see that achievement come up..

But..

When I came back.. I found my game paused and just about nothing rolled up.. And when I saw that.. I nearly punched myself in the face..

I think I accidentally pushed the start button while putting the rubber bands on the controller and didn't double-check the screen before I left.. which freaking SUCKS. And I also wasted 12 hours worth of electricity, yay.. So now I must wait till 1:00PM tomorrow.. where I will hopefully get the achievement..

I did not even know that this game came out. But that sucks.

Heh, that's no fun. Yeah, just turn your controller off and sit in the Princedom though. Your system will go idle (when the screen dims) and will use less power.

Does the time you spend in princedom count towards the hours achievements? I was under the impression that you had to be in a level...

Yes, it counts, that's how I got my 50h achievement, then I got the 100h achievement in Eternal mode just to see if that would work as well. Both places count time.

Oh, awesome I wasn't sure that one was confirmed. I'll do that one for the 100h achievement after I get the 100% one. I have to complete a quick request after I reach the 100h to get the achivement right? (If it follows Beautiful Katamari's usual time for achivement-unlocks)

lol this happened to me in superman when i was going for that frequent flyer and the time one lol but my xbox was just sitting there in the menu just like you
