Update in regard to glitches/achievements

I know it sounds 'chicken' but if I play tomb raider whilst signed in to xbox live, will the glitches disappear because of an update and will I still be able to use cheats on the time trials (if I'm really stuck) and still get the achievements??
Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: I should have just tried it on xbox live in the first place because there never has been an update and therefore all glitches remain.

It's actually a good question. I'm wondering the same exact thing myself. I finally went back to finish up this game today and it prompted me to update. I didnt do it because all I have left to get is the time trial achievements. I have already updated this game once, months ago. So this must be a new update. I guess it would be update number two. I'm assuming they just fixed that Leviathan boss bug/glitch. The one where you have to restart the game from scratch because it corrupts your save file if you mess with the levers before fighting it (I'm a victim myself). I really need to know if this update fixes the time trial glitch though. Does anyone know the details of this most recent update?

Has anyone had the "Complete the game on Hard difficulty" achievement not unlock when they've done it? I've not played it since, because I can't be bothered to go back to it :mad:

I just ran into the sea serpent glitch two days ago. My game was fully patched. I didn't have to restart the whole game. Fortunately, going back to my previous save (at the beginning of the England level) did the trick.

I want to beat the game on hard difficulty next. I hadn't heard of a glitch with doing this. Holy crap... I don't think my nerves could take it if I played through fully a second time and didn't get credit for it.
