I Hope so, I think cheats take the fun out of a game. It's also pretty boring if everyone has 1k a couple of days after the release. Of course I could be wrong, there were other games that gave you the achievements with cheats on so I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

the cheats are locked to your console. No i didn't gamesave it and I did use the cheats took 6 - 7 hours to complete

i don't want to pay for a stupid cheat code, so i will beat the game legit.I don't even see any for the U.S version. I got the free code thing in the game case and went to the website and i registered for nothing. It didn't give me a code, all it did was give me the option to buy them.

It is not that hard to figure out. Once you signed up for codemasters theres a section you put in ur free code. It tells you step for step what to do then u enter ur 5 digit code for your game then it gives u like a 15 digit and alphabet mixed code to type into your console. Id give out my enhanced dmg code if i could, but i think it destroys the private policy.

How would I get these cheat codes?
If you register the game at codemasters.com/register, this qualifies you for a free unlock code. It's just a code that makes your weapon a little more powerful, that's about it, nothing special like infinite ammo or invincibility. I agree with the others, it does take some of the fun out of the game when you use cheats.:uzi:

Very, very odd to do the whole 1K @ Jericho in 6-7 hours...., the weapons achievements seem very long.





Gamesaving is like using somebody else's winnie to "do it". ;)

game saving and using cheats is sad maybe after you beat the game then use cheats after getting a 1000 but i rather play it through without cheats. shows your a better gamer but hey we all have to take the easy way out sometimes

from what i read you can, then other say you. either way the game isnt hard so why bother with cheats?

honestly people why has everyone turned into bashers because of how someone plays a game. day after day this site gets worse with people complaining or upset about someone gamerscore and how they got it or when. every game is different to every person and not everyone finds it easy or finds a game fun. so if you paid for it or rented it and hated it because of something dumb why waste ur money if a cheat code makes it more enjoyable for them. thats all that matters is what that person thinks for himself. i just wish people could keep negative comments to themselves because it would be much simpler than wasting ur time to write a message and hope the guy gets back on to see youd bash him so you can get into a playschool arguement. i know this has nothing to do with the game but i just hope at least one person that reads this thinks before he complains about someone next time. in the end it wont change a thing and how that person thinks other than start an arguement and keep a pointless thread at the top instead of important ones more people search for. sorry everyone for this i just felt someone had to say something cause its gotten carried away lately in everyone forum. im not picking anyone out or throwing blame. just want to keep this site with only useful info instead of searching through bs.

codemaster charges for the cheat codes
the cheats do not effect the achievements
my feeling is it's your game,play it the way you want to

Hey i was just quoting what codemaster replied to the Q. does using the codes still allow achievements to be unlocked maybe they dont know themselves or just dont want to admit that they are selling cheat codes for there games but if people are using codes and unlocking achievements thats fine I myself would set up another profile and try it for myself first this is allways going to be a testy subject and I agree with Kochise everyone has his/her personal choice. Only certain games give an idea of someones true skill and nearly all of those dont allow cheat codes so yeah stop moaning and just enjoy the game with or without codes........

Just be clear about this.. The cheats DO NOT disable achievements.. End of story. Played the game with cheats on (hate or love, I dont care) and i got all achievements..

I'm lost here, what is gamesaving? And I agree with you guys, using cheats to beat a game and get all the achievements is:
1) Stupid, lol just play the game.
2) Retarded, they don't make you better at games, they make you worse.
3) A total waste of time, just take it slow and enjoy the game, then use cheats after you've beaten it for fun.
I also think that they SHOULD be disabled, because, well it's cheating...:p

game saving is when you take some ones game save off of there console on a memory card and put it on your memory card or hard drive so you will get the acheviments with the game save

in that we are all wanting guides on how to get achievements, maps for this, maps for that, help with online etc etc etc etc etc...

it's only cheating when you enter a code to get endless energy and not when someone holds your hand with a guide and shows where all the hidden treasures are.... LOL.

Another Blazing Angels type game where cheats don't effect Achievements.
I would just play the game and use cheats when you have already completly finished it.
If a known Gamesaver "HLH Martin" can do it legit, then so can you.

That's very true, but I suppose reading a Guide that says "Now get the secret _______ in the corner" is different from "Enter Left, Right, Up, Down, B + A for Level skip".

nope, no difference, they are both to help you beat the game and if your good enough to beat the game without entering a code, you should be good enough to not need another person holding your hand and POINTING OUT where you have to go.
but that has now moved on, not just text anymore but maps showing where to go along with youtube videos on how to do it.

so no..... not a clever reply, just a reminder to those who use guides/faq's and walkthroughs, that they should think..... before frowning on others who enter codes.

myself, i don't have a problem with people doing either, after all, is that not why we are all here?
