Ok, I want to get 2 12" subwoofers to put in my car. I want them to hit hard(ALOT of BASS) but I'm on a low budget. My friend requested these 2 as good subs for a cheap price.

I would appreciate some feedback about these in particular or just some suggestions to go with.

you need to think past the speaker...

you need to think about RMS on thespeaker, match that to a decent amp and then worry about enclosure sizes.

I forgot to mention, I'm not that knowledgeable on the subject of speakers. Is RMS half the max power of the speaker? If this is true then 2 subs from the 1st link would equal 600 RMS apiece. If this info is correct, would this be a good amp that could handle them?

ignore max power, its not important as youll never achieve it sustainably. RMS is the only figure you need to worry about- anyone that tells you otherwise is an idiot.

if your on a tight budget, then your better off getting a good single sub then 2 poor subs, and make sure its done properly.

cheaply done subs sound crap on tere own- even worse with 2.

So the subs I had links for are complete shit or are OK? You seem to know more than me, can you maybe give me suggestions on the brand or speaker to get whether its one 15" or 12" or 2 12s. Once it's all said and done, I know how to hook everything up so that's not an issue.
