Figured we could all try to help each other get 100% by checking on what items we need in our collections and where to find those items. I considered this thread to be too big to be a sub-discussion within the Achievement Discussion thread, hence why I created a new topic.

I'll try my best to pitch in, too.

I'll go first... Royal items? One looks like the Prince and the rest look like letters, never seen any of that. I got the King and the Queen though.

And sewing items? I only have 60% of those, is there a place with a lot of them?

How did you roll up the King and Queen? I had mine built up to about 992,000+ before I just gave up. All that was left to roll up was them, a bunch of stars and the black hole. And It wouldn't let me roll up the King and Queen or the black hole yet.

I was about 1,300,000 when I rolled up the King, Queen and Black Hole. Replay Schloss Kosmos or whatever and you should be able to do it. If you roll up the Black Hole on that level, you get 100 and unlock Eternal. You could just do the Chateau level as well.

The things that look like letters are the pictures of the cousins in the training level.

That's a very good question... haven't figured that one out. I use Mu as my character, but I've never seen a giant Prince to roll up anywhere...

So does anyone have any idea where all the sewing stuff is? I'm also missing a few skiers and snowboarders, not sure which level they're in.

Those aren't pictures of cousins, they're the King as a baby. The Prince is also in the training level. Just play it using the cousin you obtained there in the first place. The Prince trades places with her as the final item. That trick is a carryover from We <3 Katamari. -And that reminds me, I need to try to play that level again with both of them on co-op, but I don't think you're able to choose which levels you play in this game's co-op mode...

I rolled up the King by rolling up the numerous additional planets made from my extra runs for 100 on each stage. I recommend doing that, those extra suns and such really give you a LOT of breathing room. I got up to about 5 away from the highest Katamari achievement--too bad I don't own the DLC yet. ;)

Where is that damn police badge? Grrr...

Sewing items look tough... I got the sewing machine in the Japanese stage on Eternal, no clue where, though.

the sewing stuff is mostly in delightful dirigible. When you're on the table at the beginning with the roulette wheel, go up the stairs of 100 dollar bills and follow the chip rake to the wall. Take a left and you'll see a row of rings and ring boxes. Go across the ring boxes and you'll see 2-3 more thin things that you can take up to the next level. Don't follow those, and drop down under them. There are a lot of needles and different colored thread below.

I'm at 94% total completion and had some trouble finding some stuff. I'll be visiting this thread quite a bit.

Good to know. I'm at 98% completion at the moment... Gettin' down to the annoying plant here or the stupid wall there. Ugh.

Rolling up the Prince is easy. So easy you will shoot yourself when you hear it.

Pick Marcy as your character and replay the training level. Prince will be in Marcy's place.

I was about 1,300,000 when I rolled up the King, Queen and Black Hole. Replay Schloss Kosmos or whatever and you should be able to do it. If you roll up the Black Hole on that level, you get 100 and unlock Eternal. You could just do the Chateau level as well.

Actually the King is on the Kosmos level and not the chateau level. The father is on the chateau level with the mom.

A tip for getting big enough to pick them up is play levels over and over so you make more planets and stars. Example: If you make 10 Plutos all 10 will be in the final levels for pick up.

Also as far as the sewing stuff goes, most of it is in the one level where you have to get all the hot stuff, in the restraunt, near a door, around a teddy bear. Also in the either the house or shop if you see a card with blue thread, grap it as it is a rare item.

Simply do a dash attack, you will roll faster and eventually roll them!

Do the dash attack for many items like that, including a flamingo with a present on the second to last stage, and the elusive Pink, Blue, and Yellow Girls in (I think) Dynaville near the cows at the start.

Ok, here is my full list... PM ME WITH LOCATIONS! To keep this thread somewhat under control, if people want to post their full lists and edit them when they find items, that is fine, but try to keep the answers to PMs so we're not dragging this out for ten pages. ;)


But after you recieve a PM you should edit your post to show where you were told that item was at, possible next to the missing item. Otherwise it defeats the reason for this thread, and it all could have been done through PMing.

OK, I'm having trouble with the Log Cabin. About five people have confirmed that it should be at the campsite across the bridge in the hills, but it is not there. Can anyone go into their game and find this item, then please let me know which level and EXACTLY where it is? I'm hoping I'm just at the wrong campsite and not that my game is glitched...

(Where I am looking there is a building with a blue roof, a bunch of outdoor sinks and some Camper vans.)

Aside from that, the only other thing I need is Ippei Baba or whatever.. anyone remember where he is?

Came here to say exactly this (except not looking for the podium), but was beaten to the punch.

Found:

Food - 4-3-4 - Rice, found in Roller Roaster between the sacred torch and a nearby wall - by the time you can roll up the sacred torch, this thing's probably gone. Have to get there early.
Necessities - 2-3-3 - Under the wooden bridge in Seadome
Industry - 1-1-4 This was already explained in the thread and I missed it. It's next to the stadium in Dynaville. I rolled it up at 35m.
Symbols - 1-2-1 On the shore next to the Kelp Factory - probably disappears at the next size upgrade after 12m; I hit this at 15m.
Entrances/Exits - 2-3-2 (fan blades?) - Oh, wow... description was listed early on in this thread.
Teenagers - 3-2-3 (swimmer?) - In the middle of the lake in the starting area of Saturn... have to come back later when you can scale up it, I think. Didn't see exactly where he was, but he popped up when I was about 10m and just circling the pile of junk in the middle of the lake.

Still missing:

Cleaning - 1-3-1 (some kind of bucket?)

Thank you! I swear I checked every level, but that must have been the only one I didn't. Everyone kept saying it's in "any big level" but it's most definitely only in that one single level.

Oh man, I got so excited... :(

The house is in Seadome, at the bottom of the hill from the campsite. In most stages there are stores there, but Seadome has two houses with Japanese family names.

The grate is probably also in Seadome, in the middle of the city section there is a green grating section blocking off a water tower. Most of the green grate is the same as you've seen before, but one small piece is unique. (This one might be a different grating, but it's the only unique one I remember.)

Found him just now by accident. Somewhere in Seadome - I was heading for the Log in the grassy area, and had plowed through the town you spawn in. He's somewhere under 5m either in the spawn town or on the way to the Log on the hill. Good luck!I rolled Seadome for an hour this morning and found nothing. Can you guys try to recreate this for me? With a little more detail it is not in a pond, but the ocean, and it's located near the begging part where the sailboats cut surround the area keeping you from traveling to the ocean. You'll find this on the left side as you look at the sailboats in God's hands. He sticks out of the water just a little so be careful you don't just roll him up.

All three on uranus: You must finish level to get the items since there is no eternal mode for you to exit with.

1-9 Restart the Uranus level till you see yourself infront of some make up and a heart shaped candy box. Go forward a little and the snowflakes are ont the wall to the left.

3-2 The christmas tree may be on Uranus as well. It's in the second room down the stairs if that is in fact a christmas tree. If that's not the spot wait till your much bigger and try head for the snow covered mountain. There are tons of pine trees up there and some are decorated like christmas trees.

2-6 The Japanese writing board is outside on top of some barrels near the sail boats. You need to be fairly small to pick it up.

Hi guys,

Thanks so much for helping out. I racked my brain last night trying to find my last 20 or so items, and managed to find 17 of them. Here are my 3 stumpers, if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated!:

1) Cleaning: 1-8 - Looks like a dish rack, or a clothing rack used to dry dishes/clothes. (Found (see below). Thanks newbsicle!)

2) Furniture: 1-7 - Appears to be a desk with three big legs. Turning it sideways it looks like a traffic light, but it's in furniture so I'm assuming it's a desk. Human sized.

3) Symbols: 1-9 - Looks like it could be similar to the shield/crest next to it, but it's in a teardrop shape and it's "grab" size, so I'm assuming it's very small. Probably a single solitary decoration on a wall somewhere. (Found (see below). Thanks newbsicle!)

Thanks so much for helping out. I racked my brain last night trying to find my last 20 or so items, and managed to find 17 of them. Here are my 3 stumpers, if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated!:

1) Cleaning: 1-8 - Looks like a dish rack, or a clothing rack used to dry dishes/clothes.

2) Furniture: 1-7 - Appears to be a desk with three big legs. Turning it sideways it looks like a traffic light, but it's in furniture so I'm assuming it's a desk. Human sized.

3) Symbols: 1-9 - Looks like it could be similar to the shield/crest next to it, but it's in a teardrop shape and it's "grab" size, so I'm assuming it's very small. Probably a single solitary decoration on a wall somewhere.


Here were some of the items that stumped me -- I wrote down their locations in hopes they would help other people:

1) Cleaning: 1-6 - Push broom - Up against the wall in the TV studio in Seadome as you enter through the front. Roughly the size of a push broom you see in schools and restaurants in real life.

Green & Orange Candles. These can be found on Uranus. While still in the first room of the mansion go onto the counter-top under the window. The candles should be sticking out of some wedges of cheese in a circular arrangement (like a birthday cake) It's more to the left side in the back of the counter space.

These are both in the same area..but it is a little hard to get to. On Schloss Kosmos after you are over 3m leave the starting area and proceed to the other end of the map (where the big sailboats are and you need to be over 12M to leave that section) The trick is to stay small so that when you are on the other side the entire "town" area is populated by nesting dolls. If you get too big you will miss the items.

Both the podium and the piece of furniture (which is a shoe cabinet I believe) are close to the Mansion where there is a nesting doll class being taught.

The "bear trophy" is probably the Panda Mascot; if I remember right, it's in the Mercury level. Right next to the Candy/Toy Store that you start the level at, there's a little vendor shop. Once you get up to about 70cm or so (after leaving the store, that is), you can ram it, and the Panda will fall off.

That's just going from memory, though, since I'm not near the system to double check. Hope that helps.

Clay: Coolhouse. Still inside the mansion, to the left of the door that leads to the front gate. Blue box.

Electronics:
V1: Any world rolling level. Schloss Kosmos or Uranus. It's around the island to the left of the desert. You know where that robot is that's carrying a giant lizard monster, where the top half flies away if you get close. It's right around there. It might actually be the top half of the robot that flies away, in which case you'll have to dash. I could be mistaken, in which case look out for small planes flying around that look like they belong to the Power Rangers.

Furniture:
Shoe Cupboard: Haven't seen this come up in threads. I'd look around or try to remember groups of shoes. The size listed is 1.91 meters.

Tools:
Stepladder: I've got a feeling it's in Japanese town on at least one of the levels. Definitely check in the TV studio.

Summer:
Seaside House: Contrary to what it's named, I'm almost positive this is up by the big Buddha on the first main island. Pretty sure it's Seadome. I'd check it, but I hate Seadome.

Just found the rice crackers! I was playing coop in the Neighborhood, they should be there in a normal level.

In a stage where you start in the Japanese town, around the pagoda where all the students are, there should be a student holding onto a tree, surrounded by animals, probably deer. In his arms are several "Rice Cracker Sections"

Cooking - Page 2, Row 3, Slot 1 (Spatula.. but where?) FOUND! I feel stupid on this one. It's in Roller Roaster on the edge of.. you guessed it.. the fryer in the burger place.

Sports - Page 5, Row 2, Slot 2 (Skiier.. but where?) FOUND! I got this by accident.. but I know it's somewhere in the Uranus / Memory Stage..

Electronics - Page 4, Row 1, Slot 1 (Clock? Unsure..) FOUND! Dynaville or Memories stage: In the middle of the town where the clock store is. The clock isn't that big and you can probably get it the second you see it.

Lighting - Page 3, Row 2, Slot 2 (Double bulbbed lamppost..) FOUND! Seadome: Go to the circus the second you reach 3m. There are at least 10 lampposts surrounding the circus.

Control - Page 1, Row 1, Slot 2 (Remote Controller..) FOUND! Seadome: In the TV Studio; there's about 3 of them sitting there in front of the computers.

Stationary - Page 3, Row 2, Slot 2 FOUND! Same as the controller. It's an abacus on the floor next to the computers.

Summer - Page 3, Row 3, Slot 2 FOUND! I found this on accident actually.. I'm not sure, but it's somewhere in Scholoss Kosmos.

I also need.. Romance - Page 2, Row 1, Slot 2.. People have said that this is at Seadome and along the cliff that leads to the 12m exit.. and something about tall grass?? I tried looking for this like 3 times and I can't find it.. help?

FOUND! I realized it said NEXT to the 12m exit.. and not a size of 12m. The snake is grab sized and you can get this right when you start the level. It's in the tall grass next to the lake with the waterfall.

Another one I didn't understand was.. Festival - Page 2, Row 2, Slot 1.. People said this one is in Scholoss Kosmos in the town square where king kong is? Is the king kong a human sized costume or is it one of the giant monsters and are you guys talking about the town square that's outside the mansion?

FOUND! I also found this one on accident.. but I am for sure it's somewhere in Scholoss Kosmos.

I needed that tree too, and i just found it. I was playing Shani circuit, i got pretty big and i found it in the sailboat town, wedged between the backyard of the mansion and the cliffs with the giant octopus on it (where the 12 meter cones usually are) Look for the unusual shaped tree top. It's probably there in all the levels, i just found it while playing Shani.

Schloss stage for the podium. Roll up until you are 3m and roll through the barrier. Roll along the coastline so you don't pick up additional size. Roll into the area where the rich person's home usually is and outside of the gate, there is a setup of russian dolls at desks and at the front of the 'class' is a lone russian doll behind, what else, a podium... ^_^

Matsuri stage I think is in the city center of one of the larger levels. King Kong is there in other levels, sometimes the big Christmas Tree. At least I hope I'm remembering the right item.

Just double checked. The stage is in the city center of Seadome. There are a bunch of people on luxury sofas watching a show there, the rubber man and his boss also. Still no sign of my bell but the stage is there. Good Hunting!

Edit-Nevermind, ended the level I found the stage on and the king started rambling about the collection. Still don't know where the bell is but apparently I picked one up. <lol>

I just got the matsuri stage. thanks for letting me know where it was.

My game didn't give me the 100% achievement though even though I have every item in the game. It still says festival category is incomplete at 97% and I've double checked 3 times now and know for sure that I have already gotten all of those items. Could I have a buggy disk or something?

Its probably a sub-category thing. School had the vaulting steps, the paints were in one... I think the festival has one for Christmas Decorations. The category will be in color if you even have one item in it and tricks many people into thinking they have the item. Go through and check slot by slot to see if they all have descriptions and sizes, the one that doesn't is where you're missing stuff.

Yup, Xmas tree is page 3 slot 2. Its all the Christmas Decorations.
